The first exiled huguenots reach the coast of the brave new world. Being a religiously open guy, King Francis has decreed that any land they settle belongs to them and can remain protestant.
The spanish caravel carrying our colonists is reportedly still very far from where Captain Colombus had set ashore, an estimated 600 miles away. The captain is debating whether to turn back or press southward, to check for land there.
English settlers can finally set they're eyes on the promised land. Where to found our new city?
what the quote says.
Portuguese sailors have discovered the new world! Colonists are preparing to colonize this area for Portugal!
Bump for Eivind in:
English colonists spotted on the coast of India???
Two new French cities founded, Louisborg and Quebec.
Do I see a Dutch caravel trying to cross the atlantic? I hope you are not trying to reload the game everytime it capsizes until it gets across.
Anyone realise you can attach the save without zipping now for some reason..
What do you mean?
there is one elite ocean going ship per power and the rest of the current 'passenger' ships capsize away from shore. Maybe I saw wrongly because of the shadow of the unit it was carrying and it was actually the elite caravel.
it is elite
My Bad. I had expected all the elite caravels to be over in America at this year of the century. Guess Holland is a further east and always a few steps behind in this respect. Its done well to swallow parts of its more easterly neighbours though.
That file doesn't work, Koby. It makes my game crash...
I just downloaded it and it worked fine even when I went on to the next turn. Did you do an incomplete download? Do you older saves work?
My older saves for that one scenario don't work.
So I guess some Tron files have been altered or corrupted. Best solution is to reinstall the whole scenario again though you might get away with just a fresh copy of the rules.txt and events.txt
Nope, didn't work. Some other scenarios just started failing as well.
Sounds like a fresh reinstall of Civ may be in order
