Tassie Miners Found Alive

ABC TV has just interupted a doco on Saladin to report that two miners in Tasmania, who were trapped underground for 5 days, after a minor earthquake have been found alive. They have not reached them yet but apparantely have communicated with them. A third miner was found dead three days ago.
Unbelievable I thought they were gone.

They were very lucky. I live across the river from the mine and the whole city of Launceston is over the moon today. Tragic about the 3rd guy though.

Hi peoples they finally pulled these guys out from underground today. 14 days trapped in a safety cage underground. These guys actually walked out from the mine. These guys have now got it made. They say that the media payments, which will be massive with every network chasing them, that they receive will be miniscure compared to the Workcover payment they will receive.

Dave Grohl from the Foo Fighters sent the miners a fax after hearing that the guys had requested that their music be put on the IPods the guys were given through a tiny tunnel drilled to pass food water and clean clothes. Grohl said name the time place to catch up for beers etc when you get out.
The Union Rep was telling the media about this and said "I believe it is Country Music".

I truly believe that this was a conspiracy. They appeared very healthy when coming out, and what better to distract the public from the suspicious death of Private Jake Kovco.

What about the unfortunate third miner who was killed. I am sure he happily volunteered his life for this conspiracy.
I am also sure that the two miners, who were rescued, were happy to sit and sleep in each others **** and piss for 14 days for the cause.

I'm just pissed off that the government/military/whoever wont tell us the real way Private Kovco died, and that this story "convientiently" came up as a distraction.
