TED - Ideas worth spreading

I like TED. I recently watched this and thought it was pretty freakin' awesome. (I notice El_Machinae posted it earlier in the thread too). It's a good watch simply because it's both entertaining and informative. The only downside seems to be that I'm left only being able to assume that what I'm being told is correct.

A good way to test it would be to write the arguments in your own words, and post them as a new thread on CFC. There's bound to be at least some rational criticism.
