Director of Commerce - Decides on foreign affairs and trading. Sets exact tech queue. Adjusts slider and approves/denies requests from governors regarding rushes(in a government requiring gold to rush). This is a tactical position.

This was sometimes a subset of Domestic (The budget).

Debate Question
#1. What is your stance on fiscal conservatism? Is money there to be spent, or should we refrain from throwing gold at whatever we can?
#2. How do you imagine turning the guidence you receive from the Domestic Consul into actual practice?

How would you handle the imbalance with no Strategic financial planner to handle major upgrades requiring some forecasting, slider policies, financial reserve plans and criteria for allowing gold distribution ? This is the only Director position with no long term parallel planner (financial) within the Council to cooperate with.

1. We're starting a game, likely on the emperor level. Since we can't initially use it to rush anything, and since upgrading is expensive in Conquests, we need to make money quickly, and use it to buy the techs off other nations. Because of this, I believe, we'll need to throw our gold at each tech deal that looks reasonable.

2. Well, this is the list of positions we're electing:
Consul for Domestic Policy
Consul for Culture Policy
Consul for Resources and Technology Policy
Consul for External Policy
Commander of Armed Forces
Director of Commerce
Director of Infrastructure
Director of Expansion

If I end up working with the job description Chieftess provides, I'll be working, I'd guess, with Domestic, Tech, and External Policy to some extent. I'd work with domestic on slider rates and expenses as much as possible. Especially early on, this will have to do with tech research and purchase.
