Term 7 Nominations for Censor

The Censor is a member of the Cabinet. The Censor is charge of all elections, including posting nominations, election polls, and validating the results of elections. The Censor is also tasked with validating all other polls, and posting and validating polls of the Citizens Assembly.

Please note that you may nominate any number of citizens for this position, including yourself. A nomination must be accepted by the person who was nominated to be considered valid. You may only accept one nomination, but you may change your mind about accepting and declining a nomination as many times as you like up until the deadline. Candidates will be listed in order of their (last) acceptance in the election poll.

Nominations will close on June 26th at 2:00 PM EDT (18:00 UTC).

Should they choose to write them, the candidates' platforms will appear below.

Pssst... it's a he. And I'm not sure if the 7 days I was in office during term 5 count or not, but I think I will decline the nomination anyway and seek something else.

Nominations have closed and there are no candidates running. I declare that the office of Censor shall be considered VACANT at the start of the next term, which officially begins at midnight on July 1st.

I think the Censor post is a vital one that can help us keep the game running smoothly. I hope that folks who haven't stood (and those that lost out in the contested elections) consider applying for this once next term starts.

I think so - and I think this falls under our 'legal commonsense' policy. However, with a war on and other things bound to crop up, an active Censor can help keep things rollin' along

The new offices won't start until after the elections are validated, so Sigma's still Censor until he validates the two elections and it's July 1st.
