Is anyone else here a Terminator fan? If you ask me, Terminator 2 is the best of the series. Its one of my favorite movies of all time.

I thought Terminator Salvation was good. A lot better then T3.

I consider myself a fan. I was excited to see Terminator Salvation.

It stopped being insanely awesome, yes, but I maintain that T4 is an entirely watchable film.
T3 was silly - why did'nt they just install an off switch?
T4 was pretty good - best nukes of the series. And I like Bryce Dallas Howard.
T2 was the best, Sarah Connor kicking @ss. That Mex in the desert with the secret weapons cache (which actually happened in a 90's California news story). And the ending, which Sigorny Weaver stole for Alien Reserection.
So T2 > T > T4 > T3.

All most all Terminator fans agree that T2 was the best. A great example that a squeal can be better then the original.

Unlike most people, I liked T3, it was quite fun and it had a strong ending. If they had picked up where it left off, T4 might have been a good movie, instead of a mindless money squeezer.
Bucking the trend here and saying the original was best. Now don't get me wrong, T2 was great, but I think some people get caught up in the slightly better special effects, and special effects should NEVER be a reason to like one over the other. That's just lack of imagination.

Actually, I like T2 more not because of the special effect (I hope) - I think the story is more dynamic, somewhat deeper than in T1. Both are excellent action films, but T2 is IMO among THE best action films of all time.

Exactly. After that it is just a mess.
Even now when you watch the second film, you can see it has aged very well considering that it was made nearly twenty years ago and yet is feels like it could have been made in the past few years. That is how good the special effects are. The story is pretty good to, compared to his last effort.

T2 is the best action movie ever made, T1 was really good too, T3 was decent, and T4 was alright.. T4 would have been a lot better if the main character wasn't played by what's-his-face. His performance almost ruined the movie for me.
