I just got a new test of time had to use your 32 bit patch which worked but
the game froze when my spaceship went to land on the planet on the extended
version. Any answers. My old game did the same thing I thought it was
because the game was old, but no new game even new computer?
anyone have any ideas

What machine do you use? If you have Windows Vista or 7, you will need to activate Windows XP compability mode. Just rightclick the app, click on Properties. Go to the Compability tab. Select ''Run this program in compability mode with Windows XP (Service Pack 2)'' Click Apply, then OK. I had the same problem long ago and it fixed it. It's worth a try IMO.

No you don't.

It worked for me... I had the exact same problem (altough I did not had the 32bit patch... my Vista machine runs on 32bit. And I also had MGE by the time)
And besides, it takes what? 30 seconds? It's worth a shot...

And if that does not work, then if I remember correctly you have to update your Indeo codecs. I can't give you a precise walkthrough because I thankfully did not have to go thru that however.

You told him you need to run the game in compatibility mode. That's not true. I've installed ToT on several machines, 7 and Vista, 32-bit and 64-bit. All without compatibility mode. Only MastermindX's patch was required for the 64-bit operating systems.
And if that does not work, then if I remember correctly you have to update your Indeo codecs.
That's what I'm getting him to test. In ToT disabling the sound also disables video. The latest patch (1.1) wouldn't hurt, either.
