Test pitboss

Does anyone know what's happened to SilentConfusion? He's missed the last six turns in a row now. Last forum activity was four days ago too. Has he disappeared or is he just on holiday or something?
I presume he's on holiday and forgot to arrange a sub. If nobody knows otherwise, I guess we should let the AI take over his civ in the interim, so it doesn't lie stagnant.

Dave, SilentConfusion still hasn't appeared, and he's been gone for a week and a half now with no notice. I suggest you boot him to AI ASAP so his civ doesn't continue to lie stagnant. :)

This game, along with Dave's two other hosted games, has just gone down, so I presume either it's a server issue or he's doing some maintenance. I'll PM him to let him know.

Someone must have hit the poorly designed (large and exposed) power button. I'm guessing my 6 year old, though he denies it. He probably didn't even know it had happened...

Game is up now, don't really know how current so everyone who has played in the last 8 hours or so should make sure. With the "same name" issue, several autosaves could have been overwritten by going into the main game.

All my computers routinely get a protective flap of cardboard taped over the power button.

Quite an earthquake we had in New Zealand this morning! I live in Christchurch, so I was quite close to the center of the quake. Exciting stuff! No major damage in my particular suburb though, so I'll play on for now. :)

You can read more here if you're interested.

I can take one of the AIs if you are looking for replacements and challenge playing humans instead of AIs ;)

Seems this game is down, along with the Sirius one.

PM sent to Dave.

People are still logging in, looks like maybe it was just you.
I saw an "unable to create autosave" message on both games, but they were still up after the dialog was answered.

Looks like that might have fixed it. Maybe the problem only occurs for the player whose autosave is corrupted.

Hmm, my internet seems to be doing something funny at the moment, keeps cutting out as I try to log into the game. If anyone's around at the moment, would you mind logging into the game and pausing it (hitting the pause button while in-game)? Should only take an hour or two for me to sort out what the problem is, but the turn will flip very soon and it's much easier to pause for an hour or two than to wait around half a day for a reload. It's fairly important that I play this turn. :)

Seems like I've fixed it, never mind. :)

I don't particularly mind, although potentially it could throw balance with ridiculously large tech alliances even further out the window. But it's already fairly far out anyway, so never mind. :)
