TF2 (split from screenshots thread)

The new demo weapons are just stupid as hell. Turning the demo into a melee class? STUPID! What idiot would get rid of sticky bombs for that other than for just fooling around once in a while. Waste of an update.

I'm not complaining, glad I won't have to worry about every demo having sticky bombs and it'll be interesting to see how this plays out, and it'll be sweet for melee only goof times charging around as a highland warrior!

Have you tried them? Have you played with them yet? Don't think so

Come back and complain on friday once you've gotten a chance to use them. Until then...

shoot nade, nadejump when charging, decapitate enemy medic, taunt.

yeah, this is p. viable for compplay eheheheheheh

Ditto, wont be having those surprise overpowered sticky bombs exploding in the air above me turning me into giblets and going RAGGGEEEE mode at the demoman.

If the shield and sword are any good I'd likely prefer them to a gun given the chance

Finally! a reason for me to play demoman (the only class I never use)

I sometimes play demoman, but most of the time I am just the artillery guy spaming nades and pipes into the enemy. The trejectory of the grenade from the launcher is a bit odd when trying to aim using the crosshairs. Though I was told the nades hit in the area in the upper right hand area from the center of the crosshairs, not exactly at the crosshairs.

They hit there because they're also not launched from the center of the screen, but actually a bit to the right ( kind of like how it would be in real life.) You just gotta learn to compensate for that.

-70% splash radius has no effect against rocketjumping/juggled enemies, and in return you get +80% rocket speed, +25% raw damage and +35% damage from minicrits.

Yeah, to 98.7% of players it won't make much difference. Would probably be worse actually as barely anyone directly hits with rockets. Although of course the faster speed may change that.
