TF2 (split from screenshots thread)

Even on public servers that +25% damage means it's easier to take down sentries

edit: according to TF2 wiki, point blank rocket hit does 105-112 damage. Add +25% damage to that and you can instantly kill classes with 125hp

Add the minicrit in the air ( which will likely be easier to achieve due to the increased speed) and you can put some serious hurt on most classes. The tradeoff is that you gotta be able to use it. If you're a shoot then aim soldier, this wont do much good for you.

Just saw the new updates for the soldier. Apperently, the Buff Banner would make the Soldier into a kind of Officer's Class giving mini-crits to thoes who rally around you.

Looks like the Soldiers won the new mystero-weapon anyways. I did my part for the cause, taking down 167 one eyes, and I'd guess that I was killed by Demos no more than 100ish times, so I was a net gain for team Solly.

i stayed impartial throughout, playing a kritz medic got me tons of points :)

~208 Demomen killed while playing as soldier. Fortunately the inventory update and the patch won't be avalable to me till I am done with work at midnight.

i really want to play before i go to bed, but it is already 11 oclock in london.

screw it, its my holidays. :) im pulling an all nighter.

The Eyelander/Targe is both scary and overpowered imho. It gets a demo to 210 health and allows him to even get past sentries ( if he's lucky he can just make it)

At least the airblast can stop him in his tracks, and I guess that it also forces him to wait as long as the charge would have lasted, giving me some time to burn him up. Same goes for natasha, and because he's coming towards you fast, and in a straight line, it makes it pretty easy to stop and destroy, but once again, only if you catch it in time.

I havent really had a chance to play against soldiers with the TDH, but from what ive seen, a direct crit is devastating to all classes.

Direct Hit seems like it would be overpowered in the hands of a really skilled player, but we'll see I guess.

It is most definitely not a noob weapon. A decent soldier wouldnt even need to learn to juggle you anymore though, he'd kill you with one shot anyways.

Backburner is definitely completely useless and only a noob would ever use it.
