Ottoman Empire:
The Ottomans were still consolidating after the Salonika offensive, so only limited action this week.
However, the Kerensky Army Group that had broken into Armenia, begins to be a real nuisance. Something must be done against them. Artillery and Infantry cleans up the Cossacks blocking the railway line to Trabzon. Then after some more artillery preparation, the Bulgarian Army Kemal, even though not completely healed (10/15) attacks Russian Army Kerensky (2/4) and wins. (If I counted correctly, this is now already the 4th lost Army after only 5 weeks of war: Brusilow, Falkenhayn, Foch and Kerensky.)
Ottoman losses: 2 Inf
Russian losses: 2 Cav, 1 Army
Austria-Hungaria:
Kaiser Franz-Josef decided to start a limited offensive on the Isonzo Front today, as unexpectedly a small detachment of Italian forces showed up in the open plain. After heavy artillery preparation Austrian elite Infantry and Army Corp Conrad attacked and killed 3 Italian Inf and 1 Cav.
Germany:
In an attempt to force the Neutrals into finally signing a peace treaty, Germany has started an offensive on the Swedish main lands and taken Kalmar.
Only minor fighting on the Western Front: a few loose units (2 British, 5 French) were cleaned up. (Still puzzled about what two British divisions were looking for near Rotterdam?! Anyway, artillery and elite Inf made short work of them.)
Light bombardment of Riga, just to remind the Russians, we are still at war...
Zeppelin bombardment of Ypres destroys barracks and walls.
Tigran: are you again receiving my mails from my mail account? Then I can stop using my wife's.
On a side note: I begin to think that the neutrals do spoil our little war here. I think I can easily conquer Sweden & Norway and thus gain a huge amount of victory points. (Most cities there seem to be protected by only 1-2 units.) But as of now they are not yet talking, so the only way is to keep hitting them hard.
Cheers, Lanzelot
