I just wanted to say thank you. I am loving C2C.

Edit: And to all the mod makers that make up C2C.

Yes, i'm sure there are times when you get frustrated or discouraged when making the mod but believe me it's very much appreciated. Now wheres v20? :crazyeye:

Hate to bump the thread with another thank you, but I'm really enjoying the mod and just wanted to express my appreciation.

Your welcome. And thanks to the rest of the team. You guys do a great job and make it fun to mod. Collaboration is much more fun modding on your own. So thanks guys for putting up with me. :D

Putting up with you? You've been one of the core driving forces with such great ideas that this mod would really pale in comparison to itself if you weren't behind so much of it.

My only problem in working on this team is no longer having quite as clear an idea as to boundaries... but that's why I'll ask before implementing anything really radical ;)

Tis true though, the whole team has done an amazing job with making this a truly excellent mod! It just wouldn't be what it is without each and everyone one of you.

Your mod looks really really good, but I have a Mac so I can't play it. ): In spite of this, i'd like to thank you anyway, because I know the mod is good.

Awhile back I did something like this for the A New Dawn guys. I cant code or do any of that sort of thing but I like showing my appreciation in small ways. So I made a desktop icon for RAND so you can have a unique icon to assign to a shortcut.

Now I have a few icons for C2C and Civ IV in general. I have some that fit on a Dock-Bar like shown in the picture and one that I am using instead that is in my games folder that is shown open in my stack docklet (too many games to have shortcuts on the desktop and I don't think playing favorites is fair lol). I am including the zip of all the icons and some samples of what the icons look like in the zip. Mainly they are PNG files but I can change any to icons (.ICO) on the fly for anyone who cant or doesn't know how to.

Enjoy!

Good thing I found this thread 5 pages in the back!
This clearly hasn´t been used for too long :)

So : Thank you all!
Not only did you make ( and still continue to make) a great mod that runs faster then many others despite having way more and diverse content. It´s also a very alive mod. There is always something happening, we lurkers are allowed our say in discussions and the speed of bugfixing ist mostly astonishing. Mostly it´s: Post a bug..see it solved within days. Many professionals with less ambitious game projects could learn from you there.

i would thank you also and hope you develop this masterpeice for 50 years!!!!!! (or just a really long time :)

Of course. This is the best Mod i ever play in civilization time history. I start with Civ1 and have try many mods for all civ. Go ahead guys, i love yours work:)

I just want to say thanks to all the modders that came before me, both in C2C and our precursor mods (RevDCM/BUG/ROM/AND). We are truly standing on the shoulders of giants with what we do, and without the whole community none of this would ever have been possible.

I'd also like to say thanks in general for having such a friendly forum environment, that really helped me get started, both in playing, then modding, C2C.

Did you get 1 gold for that?
