Turn 17 (-3200) – HatontheCat produces settler and starts a granary. With peace with all my neighbors, it’s settler factory time. The raging barbs are a concern, and there aren’t that many good settling locations, but a granary in the capital will pay off long term.

Gbno1fan accepted the Wheel and Ceremonial Burial (even though he didn’t reply to my note), so I guess we’re still buddies. Nothing new to report in techs learned by my opponents. My 2 citizens are now 14% of the world. Rik told me his capital grew to size 3 and it’s confirmed as he now has 21% of the population. There is nothing all that interesting from F11.

My settler starts moving toward the flood plains wheat to the west. My northern scout discovers some horses not far from Rik and another goody hut – too bad I’m likely to pop Warrior Code if I get a tech.

I'm still very alone in the world. I can see more terrain now... I'm a little nervous I may see a border at the extreme North-East... but I'm hoping it's maybe just coastline. Turn 18 (-3150) – classical_hero founded Bapedi by one of the flood plains wheat – good move on his part. That was the reason for his road. But he chose to put his town on plains off the river instead of on a hill on the river – I guess because he wanted to crowd me. Zululand has 3 citizens again – one for each of his towns.

My 2 citizens give me 13% - Zulu are at 20%. 15 citizens total – I’m guessing classical_hero 3, Rik 3, fe3333au 1, General_W 1, me 2, gbno1fan 2. That leaves 3 for azza, but his score does not reflect that :hmm:. Maybe fe3333au has a second town somewhere. Pretty uneventful turn overall…

I'm not completely sure whether I want to build 2 warriors or 1 Num next. I'll decide next turn. Warriors are cheap, but will get disbanded later. Num's last forever and are a detterent, but they could also attract my neighbours into giving me a despotic Golden Age.

We'll see what I'll do.

Babylon is building a baracks.

Workers:
My 2 workers are done irrigating the plains tile NE of Babylon! I plan to move them North and start roading towards an eventual settlement by the Wheat and newly discovered Cow.

Exploration:
I'm still very alone in the world.
Bragging rights go to Peter! [party] – also the only person reading my updates apparently! ;)
Still no border – just some coastline along the north-east.
Warrior to move up onto the Mountain next turn.
