I just realised you didn't include Sumer or Babylonia in your Civ list??
 
No I didn't. This is because of space. Right now, the game is on a standard map. They will be stuck, Persia from the East, Turks from the North, and Arabia from the South, Russia a couple turns North, and Israel from the West.
 
About the Dynasties, shuld i look into it, or is a no go? Also do you want full king lists w/ full reign lengths? Or just a few signifigant ones?
I strongly disagree w/ you about Turkey but i'll leave it be, as its your mod. Why standard map size? People actually play on standard?
 
Dynasties, yes you can look up on that.
Standard size?
Biggest one that works on my computer.;) Don't worry, I'll make a huge map for it too.

Hi I'm new here so I'll begin posting here. I realy like this mod. Sohere's a few ideas...

Implament the Inquasition as a tech,it will alow you to persecute people fortheir religion. Also add the Holocoust this will alow you to butcher ethnic groups.

Make your Empirs cultural style develope based upon where you start out.

Make every unit uniqe based upon their civilization and the area in which they are biult. examle, A tank biult in a desert citywill have desert camoflauge and a tank biult in a jungle city would have jungle camofluage

make commanders, these guys command the units and a units success in battle depends partly on the commander.

Make a war planner in the Military advisor. He can calculate the amount of tim, men, money, ect., he can predict what damage your econamy will take and so on.

allow advancments into the space age. Imagine battleing amongts the stars! I dont mean galaxy or anything but just the solar system. There can be an Icon near the map that will allow you to switch back and forth.
 
Although I... disagree... with the manner in which the above put it, I believe the Holocaust should probably be involved in the name of historical accuracy... It could be a... much... stronger version of the Inquisition, with ethnic groups coming under scrutiny, it could make others mad at the country that is persecuting, and those with a high percentage of that ethnicity even angrier.

The Warmister, the inquistion will be a unit to remove one religion from a city (like the Inquistion Mod.)
I do not get your culture idea. Could you please explain?
On the units, every 75% of the units are unique units for each civilization. Plus, Modern Armor's have two versions, the regular one and the desert version with a desert promotion to start.
On Commanders, there will be Great Generals in the mod.
On the military advisor, I really like that idea. If it's possible to do it, it will be implemented.
On space warfare, my original idea was to include future era, but I decided that this mod would be more historical than fantasy, so I decided to get rid of the space era.

IVZanIV, There will be a part to this mod called Ethnic Superiority. As you can guess, ethnic superiority can lead to slavery, civil war, genocide, or etc.
 
The culture thing works out like this, Say your the Aztecs and you start out in a desert. Well your not going to build a city like one found in the jungle, its going to be biult like one in a desert. And on the offnote, I know about the great General but an officer is directly tied to that unit, his training, skill, and experiance tie into the whole complex equation that dicides battles. For example a unit that is weaker but has a superior officer commanding it is more likly to beat a full streangth unit that has a bad officer. Hope this helps and heres somemore ideas..

Instead of going totaly into the future, why not the near going-to-happen future?

Implement terrorism, It may seem bad but it is a major part of history and many goverments have used it.

Make milita units that you can recriut, like minutemen (those thses should really be an American UU) and later guerillas.

Instead of fighting barbarians that field tanks they can feild troops from the "militia" unit roster

Make a senat/congress for democratic governments. They can work like Civ II's but with any tweaks you see necissary

Trench Warfare mabye?

Assassanation attemps on other nation families

Perhaps disgrunteld family members can lead a revolt withen your empire. Like when in Civ III the Barbarians had an uprising.

and perhapse as a token of the Reagan admin. Battleships could hold cruis missils after researching a certian tech?
 
this mod sounds really good but i think i have quite a good suggestion. i know im new to this whole shabang but i thought that it would be good if you could travel from the north to the south poles by walking up a tile and travel from the south pole to the north one by walking down a tile. this is practical and has never been done before in civ to my knowledge. i am no master at modding at all so i dont even know if it is possible to do this- i hope you can though!

i am intrigued with this ethnic superiority matter. how would this sort of situation occur when a leader just wants to exterminate a whole race or whatever? would there be any reasons in-game to cause something like this?

p.s. i am liking the development of language
 
The Warmister, I see the idea of your culture thing now.
On Great Generals, I think they will be all good because they are "Great."
On future, I think my cut-off for stuff was 2008. Is that near-future?
Terrorism is in.
Conscription and Mercanaries are in.
I don't want the senate in the mod, instead there could be callings from the people and god/gods.
Trenches will be an improvement in the game, I don't know how the AI will use it. Plus, there is a unit called Trench Infantry.
I do have assasination is this mod, but I don't know it will be used. The family members things revolting could be used.
I don't like battleships being armed with cruise missiles, but there are Guided Missile Cruiser and Missile Destroyer units.

Chrisrossi, I don't understand your North Pole-South Pole thing. Could you please explain?
On racial superiority, sometimes its random. Civilizations will be divided into two ethnic classes which will help.

Please explian how great Generals will work. And I believe the Militaries near future cutoff date is 2015, but 2008 is good. Like I said you should use terrorist/assassins to be able to kill of familiy/rival family to gain the advantage. Perhapes a counter-strike force should be added to help repel terrorist. And how will the UN work?
 
ignore the north-south pole thing- i wernt thinking straight. Forget it.

One more thing about the refugee department. Does this aspect include waves of immigration to a better civ if their civ's conditions are bad, such as the mass immigration to the "New World" in the early twentieth century? This could utilise the added languages and religions. Perhaps this could also bring in anti-immigration or relaxed immigration laws/civics?

There are police unitss to repeal terrorism.
The UN will be much more expanded.

Chrisrossi, Refugees will work somewhat like that.

This is the first few units of Great Britain.


By the way, Great Britain is complete, Japan is getting there. Now, I stopped going civ-by-civ and started to go unit-by-unit.

well i really need help with 3d artwork. but ill manage to build some units , yet im still waiting for the sdk :/
