The best unit in the game!

If you know how and when to use them, and which units to use with them, they're simply overpowering.

Are you winning these fights against human players just by slamming them with praetorians, or are you waiting until you have cats? That's the only unit that I can think of that praetorians need for suppory, and I think it would be the biggest difference in fighting a human and AI - against AIs, you pretty much just mass praetorians and start marching on cities, while I'd expect you to want cats for a good human player (who's got cities stacks with shock axes and the like).

Yeah, the fast worker shadows all other UU's, but for combat I have to agree about the catapults. Any other unit has weaknesses, so you need a variety of units to keep a strong front.

If you're going to lay siege to a city, the key unit is catapults, and you'll need at least three of them - first to quickly take down its defensive multiplier to 0, then sacrifice them to collateral damage the units down before you annihilate them with your other troops. You should be ready to take over the city in one turn once you spend your catapults, so nobody has a chance to heal. And generally, you'll keep one because it retreats before it's destroyed. And you'll probably be able to build a couple more to replace them if you want to continue the advance.
