The Biggest and Best Europe WWII map Ever.

Can someone tell me how to make it in the editor to stop the AI from razing cities, I am working on a European map, that isnt WWII, more of a work in process for slowly building my own Medieval Europe scanario.

Julius Caesar I - What you need to do is to make the optimal number of cities about the same as the number of cities that you have on the map. The AI normaly will only raze cities when they have more (or will have more) cities than the optimal number of cities. You change it under "World Sizes"

I have noticed that only 15 people have downloaded the pre 1.27 version - hopefuly this means that almost everybody has version 1.27 by now. If anybody doesn't yet have it because its not available for your version of CivIII please tell me what country that is.

two more, shouldn't the major Scottisch Northern city be Inverness
you should add cities in Africa, f.e. Rabat, Marakech,...

I will add inverness. I think that Rabat is to close to Casablanca (may add it anyway though) and I do not know where Marakech is.

you should first of all replace the German cities (see thead page 24),..... Marakech is south of Rabat Casablanca

Aeldrik - ah, I didn't notice that post.

- The battleship isn't there because it was an old WW1 battleship that by 1939 was used as a training ship (training at that time apparantly included starting wars).
- Germany cannot build temples so that they will have a harder time in the game (this is to represent resistance).
- All of the rest will be changed

All - Please note I am now thinking of making a new scenario along the following lines. It will be on a world wide map and start during WW2. However it will be possible to research into the future (with new units, buildings and even governments). I will only be able to make it though if I can first find enough new units/buildings. I know of a few future scenarios but none where you can actualy research into the future.

Al Zan - I was going to add them but I was waiting for conquests to be released so that I can make sure that they are on the side of Germany. I may add them before though - it depends on how long it is going to take for conquests to be released. BTW were Hungary, Romania and Bulgaria facist in 1939?

Ville - wasn't what the end of october? If you mean the German invasion of Poland then it began on September the 1st.

Aeldik - I take it that you mean all of the nations except Sweden (I count them as a German Allay as they helped the Germans to close a ring around St.Petersburg and the Soviets only invaded them because they were fearful of the Germans using the country as a springboard to launch an assault again Russia)?

About Sweden: Sweden was a neutral Country during WW2, occupied by the Germans who wanted to get the Steel (to say it i very short)... Phoenix, are you sure you don't mean Finland, since the Sweeds were not at war with the russians during WW2. Finland wasn't either a German Ally, but was attacked by the soviets on the same pact that split Poland with Germany... (the soviets then got the lands around St Peterburg, to better Protect it).
The Germans landed/Invaded in 1940 a few months after the war, and starting 1941 the Fins fought against the russians with the Germans...
But they weren't allied to Germany by 1939...

Corrections:
The Baltic countries were Invaded by the Russians 1940, they should still be independent by 1939
Zyprus was under Britisch rule
Island belonged to Denmark before WW2, after the invasion of Denmark, Island was taken over by the Bristisch, then the US....
few more cities misplaced.
France: Reims, is actullay East of Paris, not so south of France, Cannes is a southern Coastal city (the Cannes you placed could be renamed in Mulhouse). Marseilles is more to the west, as is Lyon. Seine is not a city, can be renamed in Nancy, east of which should at least be Strasbourg

Finland asked help from Germany in the war against Soviets (we didn't have any other choice then )
But luckily C.G.E. Mannerheim became president and told to Germans that what president Ryti had agreed with Germans, didn't engage him to do the same thing and then the war of Lapland started, half of the Finnish Lapland was burned when Germans retreated to north.
(I'm not sure if the text above is understandable )

In 1939, Finland was not allied with Germany.

Only bought Civilisation 3 and I thought these scenario's sounded better than the game so I downloaded this one, having a great time but it is very slow nobody has done anything as far as I can see and I have moved on about 200 years, as for me I have now nearly captured all of Ireland, Just Limarick to go, when I declared war on the Irish,Portigal and Spain also declared war on Me but I am now at peace with Portigal, should I now try and defeat the Spanish or should I wait for them to make peace?

Something along the lines of new rules for the name - more city improvments, maybe even allow research to continue into the future and add appropriate units.

What would be cool too is if you made a "what if" scenario, like What if Germany never broke the treaty with Russia? Or what if Germany had taken Moscow? Even perhaps throw in a new nation or two that was created in the "what ifs." I know its been done before but I think it would be nice on a map like yours.
