SoCalian said:GRRRRRRRRRR.... finding the kind of maps I need is imposible. I could BS it, but that wouldn't be right. I need something acurate. In the meantime, I'm trying to think out the soundtrack for it. If you have any ideas for songs, then let me know.
really, If you could scan some of those maps, and send them to me, I that would be great. If they have not only just the locations of mines, but what type they are too, that would be extremely helpful, because I was hoping to mod in a few new resources, mostly agricultural, to reflect on the different regions. As far as the Central Valley goes, I live here(not for long though, but that depends on me graduating too, So I might take a full on break from this for the next month or two.BuddhaBubba said:ok, here's some quick ideas on where resources might be located (before i start editing the map itself) ...
1)easy one is wine country in sonoma and other places
2)central valley (that I've driven through and know firsthand) with cows, cows, and more cows...
for the metal resouces i've started just searching on google for "[metal] mines california"... i think adding a temperary overlay of the major freeways (as railways with markers) to assist in correct placement of resources
if i decided to get really crazy on this, I could go over to the college of natural resources here at Cal and look at maps that they have...they might even get it on it (however, i gotta graduate first, i wouldn't do that till the summer)
