The Capo's LH Gallery and Self-Help Thread!

Here's a forensic reconstruction of Yaroslav.

If it's any help, Capo, he kinda looks like Civ Gold's Christian.

Hey The Capo, check your e-mail! I have an idea for a collaboration, I wonder if you're interested.

Hmmm.... alright, I'll make Yaroslav.... damn it....

Are you so easy to convince? :)
Anyway, check your e-mail for Israeli city lists. Tell me if this is how you want to receive them.

I should have changed my E-Mail address, that's my e-mail from eight years ago, but it still works! (I think my parents still use AOL, and haven't removed my SN yet).

I'll check it out.

@ EKMEK; Could you actually post the blend/nif of the original Ataturk skeleton for me, I might as well reanimate Stambolov. Now that Madman managed to delay the release of my module pack anyway. :p

EDIT: Okay, I didn't get the e-mails from either of you. Please don't e-mail me, if its civ related just PM me.

ok, attached are all the blends i have left relating to my ataturk

Thank you very much.

I am also going to overhaul my Gustav Adolph LH. I was thinking of using the scalp from your Curtin LH, because that looks pretty close to the painting I am using as a reference. So basically what I do is remove the portion of the head I need, then I "fit it" to gustav's head and merge the dots that go together?

That's it right? (then of course assign it to the head)

yes, you can do that. I think once you merge it it assigns it to the same material - which means it will use the same texture as the head you merged it to. Which means you'll have to add that graphic and maybe move UVs around. Once you get to that point (and it'll be obvious when you export). I'll help you with that (its not too hard just some new buttons).

your still using blender 2.43 right?

Uh, yeah I think so. I'm not sure exactly. I'll let you know how its going when I get to that point. I have to figure out what type of clothing to use for him this time (I wasn't happy with the last set), and I have to make him fatter, he was too skinny in my original version.

Sweet, I've learned how to add scalps now! It actually wasn't hard at all, I don't know why I didn't try it earlier. Anyway I just wanted to show you what I've done for the new version of Gustav Adolph, who will appear as the Swedish leader (obviously) in my Sweden module for my mod. Clearly there are a few things I have to fix, and I didn't bother changing the material properties (so his face will match his forehead, and the cuffs on his glove will actually match the gloves) but here is a preview of how he'll look in game now.

Does that mean that there will be a chance, that you will work on the request, I did a long time ago? ;)

Okay, I got Gustav Adolph (v2) finished. Well, I need to skin him properly (basically you can tell where I added the scalp, so if Ekmek or anyone can explain how to make it look seamless that would be helpful). He doesn't look much different from teh first round of previews I put up, he just doesn't have any of the overlap issues or anything like the last preview. So here's one screen shot.

Its probably not the best shot I could have used, because it doesn't show when he raises his shoulders or anything, but trust me its all fixed (otherwise I wouldn't say it). Any volunteers to help me with the skinning? Particularly the head really, I think the rest is okay.

The lighting's kinda dark in the hair...
