Well, I was totally right. I really messed this one up. What I don't understand here is why only certain parts are showing up (note the torso, and the shoulder) that share the same texture.

Hopefully someone can help me out with this. So if anyone wants to take a look here are the files... and a screen-shot of my horrible work...

AND I didn't even size the BG correctly, apparently. I got really rusty...

So anyway, any ideas as to what could cause this?

That's fine, get Tamerlane finished. I can't wait to see the final version of it.

I think I have been making the same mistake the entire time so far, so I am about to test an LH I made just now based on Ekmek's new guide, but I might wind up using it as an LH for my mod, so we'll see.

Well that sucked!

Could this have anything to do with the fact that I made units with Blender?

I suppose I'll have to ditch the whole thing, delete all of my LH-making programs, and redownload them and start over. Unless anyone reading this thinks this can be salvaged, here is an image from Nifskope of the LH I was trying out, it was a quick mock-up of Ptolemy Soter.

Could it have something to do with the fact that I used a Final Frontier LH to make this guy? Or is it some other issue?

skin partitions is why they are invisible. thats in the trouble shoting of my guide. And yes its because its not an issue with units but with nifskope. just click on the skin instances and remove the skin partition line. then it should show up.

Man, guys the problem is in the trouble shooting section:

• Shattered Leaderhead? If the skin looks “shattered” then when you exported from blender you had “export skin partition” clicked. Load your last blend file export you nif with it un-clicked.

Hey everyone! Another quick update, I uploaded Tamerlane with my skin and background over at WePlayCiv.com, I figured I'd do this to give them more material and so that we don't have two different versions here (because I like my red version better personally). Anyway yeah, there he is...

There's also a green tamerlane out there too. LOL. Its getting a bit ridiculous. I was originally going to go with black, which in retrospect, I probably should have.

I'd probably leave it black had you made it black.
Hoping to see Askia Mohammed soon (and Cetshwayo too). Actually I need four more LHs before I stop adding LH to my game: your Askia Mohammed, Ekmek's Josef Pilsudski, hopefully there will be a Vercingetorix by Pencilgod (I am off the project), if not- your Cartimandua will make company and be the third person for Brennus and Boudica, and maybe nitram's Vittorio Emanuele II will be the fourth LH in my last additions list.

You know I would never be so bold as to challenge the MASTER and my own mentor, you know I don't have the sack to do that. But if you want to, I'd go up against you just to see what's up. You wanna throw down on Maggie Thatcher....? ?

I'm not trying to lull you into it, I just think that'd be a hard LH to make. But if you don't think you can hack it we can make any LH you want to make. Unless you are scared of course...

I don't know, Maggie's face was a bit more round/square than Civ IV Elizabeth. I'd go in a different direction, either way the face is going to require A LOT of editing, and in that department you may have me. Are we doing this or what?

(I say this realizing this is a potential waste of time for the both of us)

Well still, can you send me what you have? Pencilgod is a great talent, but I wouldn't rely on him for anything. There's nothing wrong with that of course (it's not like it's his job or anything), but I'm still waiting on Salamasina and that was only a small reskin.

@ Ekmek; now that I am sober I am pretty sure you would destroy me in a Maggie Thatcher-making contest. At least right now, you have become WAY better and if anything I have only become rusty and incompetent. Having said that I will probably re-learn very quickly and at that point I will commence talking trash.
