That isn't the lighting, that's what the texture looks like. Which is why I need help texturing his head. That's the thing I'm the worst at.

Any good ideas on how to reskin this so the spot where the scalp and head attaches looks more smooth? It isn't HORRIBLE at this point, but its certainly noticeable. And since this is my first scalp job I might need a little help and advice. Thanks.

too male it seemles syou are going to have to line up the UVs. when you go to UV mode and then go to the "UV/Image Editor" mode (step 4 in roland's guide). but you need to have your textures iported as tgas in blender 2.43 . in this editor you have to try and line up the triangles. it'll be tedious the first time around but you should get used to it quick.

Thanks Ekmek, while I am showing frustration/despair over doing these "new" things I am only complaining just to complain. Thanks for helping me out, all of my leaderheads have a little Ekmek in them!

Okay this is strange. I am making Mindaugas for my Lithuania module and this is what the model looks like in NifSkope (hannibal.nif):
Below I have attached what it looked like in the game. Now I did try to load up NifSkope while the mod I put him in was in the middle of loading, so I am HOPING that could be a reason this occured. Any other ideas though in case it isn't?
Apparently not, I tried again and it didn't work. Damn it, it took me forever to get that damn helmet/crown/hood thing shaped properly. Somebody help!!!!

Looks like you mixed up some skeletons. Did you import two skeletons into blender at some point?

I tried a new NifSwap, we'll see if that worked. I tried the NifSwap on to the Forge LH and it looked exactly like it does in the game screen shot. So maybe there's a connection there, I'm not sure though. So I redid the hannibal nifswap to see if that worked...

Man, that looks even worse. This is so disheartening. Is there any easy way to fix this or do I have to redo the entire LH?

you might have to redo it. But thas because I'm not sure what you did to say where you can go back and restart. whenever i had this problem it was because i used either two skeletons or imported a body part that still had some bones to it.

Alright I redid it. Here he is, I just have to fix one small detail with his forehead (it isn't big enough, so you see some space when he lifts his head a certain way, but other than that I think its good and fixing that is pretty easy. Its going to be a Mindaugas LH for my Europe module pack. I'll retexture it, or at least try to, so it looks a little better. I hope you guys like it.

Here's Mindaugas, I've fixed the forehead issue but just noticed a small issue with hsi cape. I can fix that pretty easily as well. I also put in the background I intend on using as well. Now, I think he needs some good texturing. I am thinking of making the Helmet match his scale armor, and having the crown match the armor on his arms. I will probably change the red thing on his crown to blue or green or something and then I don't know what to do with the cape's color. Any ideas?

I agree on making the crown match the gold armor and the helmet the other plate. On the cape color, I like the red, but I'd also suggest matching it to the color of his sleeves to make a matching outfit. I mean, if he's a monarch, he should be rich enough to be color-coordinated, right?
The blue jewel is also a nice idea. Didn't you earlier consider adding a few more matching jewels to the crown? I think that might also be worthwhile.

Worthwhile but annoying....
Yeah I could do that too, I'm getting LH-fatigue. And there's still two more to go on my European modules. Its not good... but I can do that. Of course It'd be better if I got someone with some artistic skills to retexture this for me. I am terrible at doing that (see Cardinal Richelieu), so I woul sincerely appreciate it if anyone could step up to the plate.
EDIT: I should have said "Worthwhile but really . .. .. .. .ing annoying" this sucks so much ass. You guys should be paying me for this! Where's that dude who pays people for LHs!
