You are not mistaken. Them of the Mediterranean ends tomorrow. The next day? The first installment of

The Confederate States of America
Life Without the Union

This will be back to my normal history book style. I, personally, cannot wait! Questions will be answered:
What if the War of 1812 ended in the nation split?
What if the Civil War didn't need to happen?
What if the Union was part of Britain?
What if the Revolutionary War had failed?
Who would be the presidents of the Confederacy?
All the questions and more will be answered!

Another Trexeric story! Awesome!

Oh this will be quite interesting, especially from you Trexeric, eagerly await to see the beginning stages of this stroy take shape!

Subbed.

Oh no, slave drivers to power...

Take over Iraq, Iran, arabia and burn mecca.

Keep Mecca, the shrine will help fund the war.

It will take perhaps three prologues until the actual story takes place.

Prologue, Part 1: The Rise of Medieval England

Germanic tribes of mainland Europe drove the Romans out of Europe - which didn't matter because the Romans were already crumbling. Anglos and Saxons formed the majority of the land, forming the 'Anglo-Saxon' territory. The Germanic tribes didn't agree, however, and disunity was ever present. The Kingdom of Wessex controlled London, the first major city in England. Wessex territory quickly took Kent, a minor kingdom. Sussex and Dumnonia fell, too. Wessex's king, Sigeberht, invaded the north, into Mercia and Northumbria. Wessex now bordered the grand Viking occupation of Scotland. However, war was not necessary because the Vikings withdrew from the city. France in the south disabled Wessex expansion in that direction, and Viking Scandinavia prevented expansion in the east. Thus, the large island in which the Celts settled was invaded. The Celts surrendered, and 'Dublin' was settled. With the British Isles and Ireland settled, the Wessex looked out to sea.

At around 1000 AD, the Kingdom of Wessex was completely united. Wessex formed into the new 'Kingdom of England' ruled former Wessex territory. Also, with so much territory, the English sent settlers through French and Spanish lands, hoping to find lands fit for settling. They came to North Africa, where the Byzantine Empire had ruled since the Roman Empire toppled. The English settlers exited the boats and settled the city of Tunis near the ancient city of Qart-Hadasht's ruins. Tunis established a border in Africa, which halted Byzantine expansion. The ships that took the settlers to Africa, the 'Royal Navy', were attacked by a Viking trireme. This started the Viking invasions, which stood in place for about two hundred years. However, for the next two centuries, no major invasions would take place.

The Royal Navy's high general, Major Edward Bent, built a new ship called a 'caravel' that was he first ship to sail into the open Atlantic Ocean. Bent led many, many men into the open ocean searching for gold. What Bent found was an intelligent civilization. The Aztec people had settled the land, and they were very proud. However, seeing a superior force, the Aztecs swore fealty to Bent and his men. Traveling southeast, Bent set sail for the southern continent. With new technologies, the English exited the Medieval era and entered the Renaissance Era.

So far it looks like it... can't really tell.

But if it is, there seems to be what looks like a Byzantine colony in North America at the moment.

It's a native city. Chichen Itza. ;)

Anyway, I'm pretty sure the absence of playable Byzantines, indicated by the non-playable-Byzantine city in North Africa, means it's vanilla RFC.

I don't understand, however, how Trex could then be at peace with them.

Ah, I keep thinking that the native colors in RFC or instead Byzantium colors, and get them confused often. Is it often that the Maya get overwhelmed so early?

I don't think they exist in the 600AD start in vanilla RFC.

great update.
