The Crusades Mod (1096-1636)

It is the year 1096. The Turks have taken the holiest city of the known world, Jerusalem. The Byzantines tried to take it back but all of their attempts failed miserably so they resorted to asking the Catholic pope, Urban II, to send their men there to liberate the Holy Land from the Infidel, Muslim Turks. When they have accomplished that and the Byzantine Empire has fallen, they can start the age of Colonization. They can colonize North Africa and parts of Russia. They can even liberate the Byzantine lands.

The A-rabs are kinda like that....lol, jk. In 1069, the Arabs hadn't completely overrun the Middle East and Northern Africa, they were still establishing a base of supporters in what is now the Saudi Arabian desert.

The file wouldn't go on because it is so BIG! So I am attaching it now. NO! The Byzantines can't be played because they are too big and the Turks overrun them in like one turn!

well, that isn't very realistic, they weren't overrun until 1453, and wasn't 1071 before manzikert, byzantine empire was still strong, but not that strong

Erm...why is "Austro-Switzerland" and Ireland (the first one didn't exist; Austria was part of Germany, and Ireland was part of England [from 1171 until the end of the period at least]) there, but not poor old Scotland?
