I've just realised something, DYOS XII has no subtitle.
How about DYOS XII: Subtitle removed due to copyright infringement? Or is that too long/serious? Thoughts?

Naw, most of the drafts I have are open-ended, and the sixth chapter I left completely open for potential collaboration. :B I figured that since I never collaborated with any DYOSers in 11, that I should endeavor to do so in 12.
I got bored and lapsed into one of my peculiar vexillological moods, so I made a flag for a united Avalon.
The four constellations in the quarters are the most recognizable constellations of Avalon's south hemisphere, and can be seen in that set of comics just before Bowie shows up to fight Gruekiller.
Clockwise:
The Sickle: Representing the industriousness of the Avalonian people
The Blue Jay: Though the resemblance to an actual blue jay is debatable, this constellation's presence on the flag is meant to represent the determination of Avalonian people.
The Phoenix: Symbolic of Avalon's rebirth after the Crinoor occupation.
The Bowman: Showing that Avalonians will fight to defend their home and freedoms.

So I take it Avalon is going to be Grue's new home planet? 
Somehow I feel like the Republic of Coruscant would welcome Avalon into the galactic community...
...but were in a middle of a Civil War and have our arms tied ATM (See my For the Republic series for more details).

Hmm, maybe I should make some flags for the various empires my characters get involved in. The problem is... I never actually have considered any designs. Rose Gold Empire? I was thinking of a golden rose on a purple background... but that'd be obvious and uncreative.

Very Important Message
The X-COM Council has been disappointed by the slow contributions to DYOS. I regret to inform you that this weekend, I will be posting my final comic. I will not be spending any more time waiting for the end and will just skip straight to it, with a short summary of what my characters did to get out of their situations, etc. You know, a big "Where Are They Now Montage" (TVTropes link not included for sanity reasons)
After that, I will no longer be contributing any more comics until DYOS XII. I am finished and tired of waiting for the end. I don't even care if the plot picks up this weekend and we all get to the end. I am already going to be there.
Qara's wedding? Forget an exciting plot involving Choppers, explosions and time manipulation. I'll skip that (And I was so looking forward to Holding Out For A Helo) and make a summary in the montage.
The X-COM plot that develops the love triangle? That ship has sailed.

You're not alone Stylesrj, I'm also getting tired of waiting for the end. I've debated on concluding the plot sometime between Christmas and New Years to give TK a chance to work on the comic so that we all can finally move onto making DYOS 12 (I'm quite busy with my For the Republic series and an eventual Christmas Special).

Well guys, you know how I said I was going to make my final comic this weekend?
Ironically, I've come across some setbacks (mainly that I'm replaying the Mass Effect trilogy and Halo 4 Multiplayer) and well... the comic may be delayed. It'll be done when it's done (hopefully in the next few days or next weekend), but I'd thought I'd let you know.
