You have no soldiers. You have to use IC to buy.

I will soon finish the update, but I am going to say that a nation attacked Byzantium, destroyed Jerusalem and burned the True Cross, the cross upon which Jesus was crucified.

Middle East:

Armenia invades Byzantium! With the entire Byzantine Army invading Italy, the Armenians attacked Byzantine Armenia with 1 Legio Armeniaca. The army was led by General Ashot and the King of Armenia, Tigranes. The Armenian attack was a complete success! (+ 1 fame for Tigranes, + 1 fame for Ashot, + 2 :))

Sassanids create the largest industry in the world: The Sassanid Empire created the largest industry in the world . Being in the middle of Eastern Asia and Eastern Europe, the Sassanids are able to buy Chinese silver and China from China and sell it in Byzantium and Arabia. Thus a rise has been seen in Industry. Combined with the funding of the Imperial Government, the Sassanid Industry has seen a huge rise.

Tragedy in Persia: What happend in Persia seems like the ancient Greek tragedies. Fahra, the wife of the Emperor of Persia, Arasakus Babak, killed her own child, the Emperor's son and heir to the Persian throne, Arasakus the younger. She wanted the older son of the Emperor dead, so her son Asherak can take the throne. Some say that Asherak may not be the Emperor's son but son of General Maezus who died (and some say that he had an affair with Arasakus Babak's wife). Fahra was executed and Asherak was exiled in a far eastern province. As the Imperial Army moved the young Prince to Eastern Iran, to exile him, some Nomads of the desert attacked the Army, killed them and took prisoner the young Prince. Soom fear that the Nomads may use Asherak to claim the throne of Persia, once Arasakus Babak dies. (+ 1 Fame for Arasakus Babak and + 1 :), potential revolution after Arasakus Babak's death)

The Persian King Married: With his old wife dead, the Persian Kings married Artavazana, a very beautiful woman (the most beautiful in Persia) that has excellent intelligence. (+ 3 :))

Eastern Europe:

Byzantines attack the Ostrogoths! Roman Emperor Justinian Mosher I has ordered Generals Belisarious and Anastasius to invade Italy. The Ostrogoths, not having an army, were not able to face the invasion. For more see the Justinian Restoration

Ostrogoths build the largest Pagan temple in the world: While the Romans Invaded Italy, the Ostrogoth King Alaric decided to build a building that would give him eternity. He ordered Roman Theodosious, who is mathematician and engineer , to create the largest Pagan temple the world has ever seen. With a height of 17.72 m and a size of 78.5 by 41.9 m and 12 Golden Statues of the King and the German Gods, it will be almost 3 times the size of Parthenon. The building will be completed between 3 to 4 years. (Pagan Temple Project 44/100, - 44 G., + 1 Fame for Alaric, + 1 :), This project is a Random Event.)

Alaric Marries Julia: King Alaric of the Ostrogoths married the Roman princess Julia, a 16 years old girl. Julia is a rich, very beautiful woman and has excellent intelligence. Although most people were happy about the new Queen, some Ostrogoths are angry because she is Orthodox. (+ 4 :), + 30 Gold ,+ 1 :mad: because she is Orthodox)

Africa:

Hildemer and Chlotunde marry: In the Vandal Kingdom, the King search for a wife for Hildemer and for a husband for Chlotunde. Unfortunaly, the King found only one Noble woman and one Noble man for his children. Hildemer married a 23 years old Roman Noble named Theodora and Chlotunde the Vandal warrior Alarus. (+ 4 :), + 20 G. from Theodora)

King Hilmeric has new son: King Hilmeric has a new son, Aroiuis. The Arian Priests have blessed the child. (+ 1 :))

Vandals create many Farms: The Vandal King had ordered the creation of many farms for his people. This new farms have created a large wealth in the region and a population boom.

Arabian King marries: The King of Arabia, Ali Mahamd, marries Mufatet, a 34 years olf Arabian Noble. ( + 1 :))

Arabians Invade Byzantium! The Arabs follow the example of the Armenians (some historians argue that the Ostrogoths had come to an agreement with the Armenians and Arabs to invade Rome, but this is not accepted by the majority of the historians) and invade Byzantium. With the entire Byzantine Army invading Italy, the Arabs, under the leadership of King Ali Mahamd, invade Palestine with 2 Tribal Warriors. The result is an amazing victory for the Arabs! Jerusalem is taken over and burned to the ground while the True Cross, the cross upon which Jesus was crucified, was burned by the Arab King. (+ 1 fame for Ali Mahamd, + 2 :), + 5 :mad: for Byzantines)) [Note: Normaly a military defeat would lead to + 2 :mad:, but because the Arabs took over the Holy City of Christianity, the people are more angry .)

Justinian Restoration:

Roman Emperor decides to recover the Western Roman Empire: Roman Emperor Justinian Mosher I has one dream: to restore the western provinces of the Roman Empire from the Barbarians. This has led him to the decision to attack the Ostrogoths and retake Italy, the heart of the Roman empire.

Belisarious invades Ostrogoth Dalmatia: The Roman General Belisarious decides to reclaim the old Roman province of Dalmatia from the German Barbarians. In one mighty attack, he wiped out any resistance and took over the entire province! (+ 1 Fame for Belisarious, + 2 :))

Anastasius invades South Italy! General Anastasius, with 1 Cataphract, invades South Italy. Against the advise of Belisarious, General Anastasius decides to buy a Navy. He even ordered to go into debt if necesarry. He loaned the huge amount of 240 G. and bought a navy. That was a foolish move, since the money he owed were 3 times the amount of the Imperial Gold. As soon as he landed in South Italy, crushed any local resistance and was ready to be glorified by his soldiers, the Bankers asked him the money. Because he did not have the money, he was taken Slave. That has angered the Soldiers, who are in a foreign enemy land without a General and has also angered the population who are angry at the Emperor for letting fool generals to lead the Army. The Emperor could be able to pay the huge loan in 2 years to free his General, but a revolution against the Imperial rule makes sure that the General will have to work as slave for the Bankers. (+ 1 :mad:, + 10 G. each turn gained by Anastasius, they will all go to pay the debt. You may try to escape)

Revolution in Byzantium! The invasion of the Armenians, the destrcution of Jerusalam from the Arabs and the burning of the True Cross, the bloody war in Italy and the investment of Imperial Income into the Army instead of the Industry, has led a large part of the Roman Population to revolt against Imperial Rule. Anger against the Mosher Dynasty is rising, and the provinces of Pelloponesus, Greece and Smyrna have revolted and have declared General Narses Angelos Emperor of the Romans. The Army of General Anastasius, 1 Cataphract, has retreated from South Italy, and along with the Roman Navy, it joined the rebels, as it's general is enslaved by the Bankers. Also the rebels steal a large part of the Imperial Gold, 60 Gold, almost 1/2 of the entire Imperial Gold. The Rebels prepare for war and shout ''Nika!!'', that means Victory in Greek. (+ 1 :mad:, Pelloponesus, Greece and Smyrna rise up against Imperial Rule, General Narses Angelos betrays the Emperor and is declared Roman Emperor, - 60 Gold, 1 Cataphract and 1 Navy join the rebels.)

Western Europe:

King of the Franks has a Child: King Pepin I has a new son, Louis. (+ 1 :))

King of the Franks creates new Temples: Pepin I, the King of the Franks, has created many Temples to honor Jesus Christ and the God. This has made very happy the Frankish People and he has been declared a Saint by the Church. (+ 12 :), + 1 Fame for Pepin I)

Franks invade Visigoths! Two Frankish Milities attack the Visigoths. The Visigoths, with two Tribal Warriors under the leadership of Ardo crush the enemy Milities in Catalonia, while King Wallia, with one Tribal Warriors, crushed the second Frankish Milities in the Basque. (- 2 Frankish Milities, + 4 :mad:, + 1 Fame, 1 Command and 1 Courage for Wallia, + 1 Fame and 1 Command for Ardo)

Royal Marriege between the German and Norse Dynasties: A Norse Princess named Mette has married King Brettus of Germany and has become Queen of the Germans. This has led to warmer relations between Germany and Norseland. (+ 4 :))
