Sorry Stormene, but your logosmadur thing doesn't mean Lawspeaker, it means Prime Minister!
(I'm Faroese which is very closely related to Icelandic so I should know!)
Yes it does. Or rather, yes it did. Perhaps you don't understand what a lawspeaker was.

lögsögu-maðr, m. lawspeaker
...from...
lög, n. pl. law, laws
sögu-maðr, m. authority
...from...
sögu-, gen. from 'saga'
maðr, m. man

"Euro is good for you. Euro solves all your problems! Trust Euro!"
That's the Finland's Goverment propaganda-TV-Campaign of year 2001.

"The Taliban aren't that bad of guys, they're just misunderstood!"
-Tom Brokaw

"Are you sure the Republicans weren't responsible for this?"

Coming up:..

Finland's goverment TV-Propaganda 2002:
"NATO is good for you. NATO solves all your problems. Join NATO."

"What do you think about the U.k. and Denmark not joining the Euro? "

I think that most people in the U.K and Denmark want to join the Euro when the economic situation is right to do so!

Its funny because we would have joined ages ago but Labour are scared because it might make people bother voting, and against them...The last election, only slightly over half of the population voted so insted of people not being able to tick the right box they just didn't tick any...
