The Island Game

Aww, you guys all kicked the crap out of the Scalers to help me liberate my country...

Alright, time for some more roleplaying.

The remainder of the Scaler army retreated from the capitol as the Xox Xoolian soldiers moved in. "The fools managed to detonate the bioweapons lab," observes the Scaler Grandmaster. "Maybe now they will see how foolish it was to strike us when the Technans can't return to their homeland..."

"Sire," said a Scaler underling. "We need to return to our homeland now, before the enemy closes in. The remnants of the Fleet are just ahead."

Sure enough, the massive starships were moving in to retrieve their battered allies. The Scaler Grandmaster smiled coldly, but his hopes dropped as he heard the familiar whine. A fleet of Technantan Arbiter bombers supported by a massive entourage of the Technantis air force swooped in on the fleet. The air force quickly proved that it was one of the best in the world. The Arbiter bombers struck and nearly destroyed the larger ships with their Arbiter bombs and the other fighters and bombers struck down any smaller ships and the defense fighters that tried in vain to defend the ship. The men in the Grandmaster's army had fallen to the ground after some of the Arbiter's bombs hit the ground, allowing the multinational force of all the nations allied against the Scalers to move in. The Grandmaster scowled and pulled out a laser pistol, determined to fight to the death. The Grandmaster rose from the ground and pointed his gun at the closest human to him. The man promptly shot the fallen leader through the head with his side arm, killing him instantly.

"Can't let you do that, Grandmaster," General Wulf said matter-of-factly, still looking the leader in the now lifeless eyes, holstering his smoking gun. His eyes traveled from the leader to the rest of the Scalers, who promptly raised their arms in a gesture of surrender.

"P-please don't kill us," the second in command of the Scalers stammered.

"'Please don't kill us'?" General Wulf parroted. "You've slaughtered millions of our citizens for centuries, invaded and destroyed our homeland, made our capitol inhabitable with your bioweapons, and all you have to say is 'please don't kill us'?"

The Scaler gave a whimper of fear.

"Luckily for you, we won't kill you," General Wulf said. "We know you have the technology to undo the bioweapons damage in our capitol. It would take us years to do it, but for you it would take only a few days. I think yoyu can spare the menial labor for us..."

"A-and then?" the Scaler continued.

"Who knows?" the General said. "Maybe we'll let you go back, maybe we'll imprison you, maybe we'll even ship you overseas. I heard the Xox Xoolians love guests."

The Scaler looked worried.

The War is now over. President McCloud is now back in power in the nation of Technantis. The Scaler prisoners have been put to work repairing the bioweapon damage. McCloud has also oredered the scuttling of all the remaining Arbiter bombers. The funds will be used to rebuild the ruined nation.

And McCloud isn't going to send the Scalers to the Xox Xoolians if they don't get their biohazard troops out of the capitol.

The battle is won, the war is far from over. The Scalers might be off our planet, but we can't let them rebuild their forces. We must ensure that such invasions never occur again!

Don't worry, we're working on that. We've developed a long-range space scanner, and we are sending a few of them to the edge of the Solar System, so that they can detect any incoming alien fleets, and we're also working on a few space lasers to try to prevent them from reaching the ground, or at least stall them.

Selachima is officially establishing a National Space Force as the fifth branch of the military lest something like this happens again.

All Selachiman troops in Technantis are heading home. There will be a victory parade in Carcharopol, followed by a traditional Selachiman pie fight.

I wouldn't worry about space invaders too much. The galaxy is a big place.
-King Stine Illsgrey of Steampunkeria

Designs for the new Steampunkerian Steamblade are in the works. The clockwork/steam hybrid will involve eleven barrels of hell and a massive frame. The SteamBlade will be twice as large as our Juggernauts and have a lot more guns.

Trichomedian forces leaving.

Hey, are we ever going to have that party in Caudal Lagoon?

Just make sure we don't let Steampunkeria do anything, especially bring the Cake. :p

Cake is a lie

We didn't say you couldn't have Cake, just that you couldn't make and bring cake. But you aren't invited anyway- the reason for the party is the Treaty that ended the Xox Xooklian War a while ago, and we only invited the participants and Selachima (for hosting the party)

For that matter, The Republic isn't invited either, but we did say you could get in for 5 bucks, so pay us 5 bucks and you two can get in the party.

I'll come to the party with a ambush gift to the other nations. Why I'm telling you? Because I want you to cry in disappoiment when I get you nothing I like having people wonder what their gift will be. It's a fun experience, some of the time.

King Stine Illsgrey arrives to the party in his coal-powered airship.
Also onboard the airship, on the roof are five deer in a holding pen.

You did say five bucks right?

Yes, 5 bucks was fine.

*Is drunk and talking to a plant*

General Wulf is bringing a cake. General Wulf loves cake.

The cake is delicious and moist. Thanks, General Wulf!

President Innocent Bystander denounced the cake as a lie in a major press conference today. He went on to explain that the entire nation of TSS was in jeopardy of believing this illusion, and subsequently tried to introduce a law that would ban the word "cake".

It passed.

Moneta has just passed the "Total Isolation Act". This act causes everyone to return home and stops external communication, like the Republic. Pres. George said "It worked for them*, it can work for us". Slowly, all transmissions to other empires are being lost. Farewell.

(OOC: I'll be gone for a week, so I needed an explanation.)

*Yes it worked, until they tried to reconnect to society.
