A News Update from the invasion of Selachima:

At Caudal Lagoon, the Scalers' poor tactics resulted in their complete destruction at the hands of the Terminators. The Trichomedians almost suffered the same fate, but the timely arrival of reinforcements allowed them to win the battle. Caudal Lagoon is now in Trichomedian hands.

The invasion of Karta on the East Coast was also successful, and the city and surrounding area has been taken.

Trichomedia requests the other nations of this map get off their lazy arses and help kick the Scalers out of Selachima.

Commandos of the Selachiman Liberation Alliance (dark red), made up of expatriate or exiled Selachimans and overseas volunteers, have landed on the northern coast. They've been immunized against the Scaler virus and have been training in land, sea and air warfare for the liberation of the homeland. Participating in the operation are the remnants of the Selachiman Navy and Air Force which escaped when the Scalers took over the country. They are highly trained and soon annihilated all Scaler presence around James Bay and Portsborough.

They hope to connect with the Selachiman Resistance already in the country. These Selachimans are immune to the Scaler virus and have taken up arms and took refuge in the mountainous areas. With the start of the Terminators Crisis the Resistance seized the opportunity to take over much of the highlands. However, they're now under attack from the Terminators as well. The fortress of Keystone in the south is particularly vulnerable. Chief Consul Andrew Barragan is in Keystone with a handful of defenders trying to hold out against the Terminators before reinforcements arrive.

The Terminators have seized the entire southern coast of the country (dark blue), including the densely populated western plains. What remained of the Scaler and mind-controlled Selachiman forces there withdrew to defend the ultimate prize, the capital city, Carcharopol, which has been surrounded and besieged by Terminator forces.

President Stine Illsgrey is concerned about these new Terminator machines. He places a few bills out which increase funding for Harkness Industries which are quickly accepted and implemented.
Plasma Guns are planned on being placed on all ships, while the Battleships would be upgraded to Plasma Turrets.

Reports of the new F/K Titan also reach the President's ears.
Seeing as how there are no known weaknesses, he decides that one needs to be created. The latest prototype of the Harkness Industries S.H.R.I.N.K Beam is packed into crates and loaded aboard the Giga Fortress for immediate transport to Selchima for deployment.

This new weapon could affect larger targets, has a longer range, and also uses less energy per shot.
It was too big to replace the old one on the Fortress, so it would have to be set up on land.

Previously, the missile was just fired and it'd hit something when it hit, but now you've just opened up its guidance to SKYNET so it can be used against you!

The newest release of the Terminators is the F/K Aerial and the F/K Carrier. The Carrier deploys Terminators (T-250's) at the speed of 127 per minute. It has 12 engines and all are located within it's inner, near indestructible shell. They have also created a Plasma Grenade launcher, so they've modified their SMG technology to include the grenades.
