The Kingdoms of Imsdan: Lizard's NES

One of the reasons it would not be doable. If you, however, wished to give one of your regiments, a legendary reputation, i.e. 'the fighting first', mention it in your orders, and it shall be included.

Also, all orders do tommorow, try to get them in by the afternoon.

orders sent.

Thank you. And, I'm pretty sure the only orders that I'm missing are from Nutranurse.

Hmm, alright. Well, I looked, I'm missing orders from
Eltain
Omega
Nurtanurse
Germanicus
I probably wont be able to update till late tonight, or probably tommorow. So, please try to get that stuff in, while you can.

Yeah, sorry. Moving back to school has taken up more time than expected, writing up orders now.

No problem, try to get them in as soon as you can. I'll be typing bits and pieces of the update up all day, I've been sort of busy.

Yeah, orders sent- but I forgot something so let me just make the addendum here: Keep the ships freaking vigilant of attacks via sea. They are to attack the enemy navies at any cost, even commandeering civilian merchant ships for battle.

Gotcha. The update is looking good, but expect it tommorow.

I understand that everyone has a life, but honestly it's 5-10 minutes for basic recruitment stuff, you can send that in early and revise it later.

No, sending in orders and then sending in revised orders is just down right messy. For the mod it can be a pain because they have two sets of orders and when in a hurry they may go for the wrong one, creating problems. It's best to just send in final orders, which may take time to come up with depending on the situation.

Pfft. If you have been on CFC since the update, you have no excuse.

There has been little diplomatic movements.. and its been a good while since the last update. Within half an hour you could have got them in.

Its lazyness or a lack of discipline if you don't get orders in on time.

It is also very rude. A Mod has to put in a lot of effort for a game to run. Having to chase orders every week really takes it out of you

(I speak after running about 9 NES in my time here)

Not arguing that sending in orders late is perfectly fine and not rude. It is and I can imagine that it can dishearten a mod. I'm just saying it is a bit silly to send in drafted orders when that can lead to the mod getting confused.

Ah, that we agree upon.

Alright all. It's a smaller update (as was pointed out, very little diplo- occured) but it should be up in an hour or so.

Political/World Events

East Esaya has begun a massive education initiative, building schools in the far-reaches of its domain. This will aid future generations, surely, in the world of academia.
(+1 Education to East Esaya)

Randpol, and Craydonia both stepped up their respective education programs in light of East Esaya's. This has brought Craydonia some new.. strange technology, and into a new age. Randpol isn't far behind, and their ships are showing some signs of technological advancement.
(New Age achieved by Craydonia)

The Northern Sea Oligarchy, Craydonia, and The Belz Republic have began open trade with each other. In light of recent pirate raids, the nation's ship have been duel patrolling the trade routes. The only kink in the system came with the refusal of Craydonian ships to work with ships from Belz, claiming 'Working with rebels, sort of defeats the purpose of attempting to find pirates, doesn't it?'. The final blow to the initiative came from Onsam, whose claim that Craydonian in fact funded the raids. This, despite the heroic story of the Inquisitor, quickly made the tensions between the two powers reach an all-time low. Any response by Craydonia, however, was offset, by other events.
(see Below)

The Empire of Craydonia, for the second time in recent years is experiencing a rebellion. This rebellion, is of a large enough size, that the Craydonian military has been deployed in force. The root cause of the rebellion, is laying in years of being mistreated by the royal family.
(see Military Events)

Anris, has become a protectorate of the nation of Ketmir, after being successfully invaded. The terms of the peace, however, were fair enough. Anris, in turn for keeping all of its land, and right to self-rule, for the most part, gave up a large part of its military, along with caps, and pledged allegiance to Ketmir.
(see Domestic Events)

The Northern Sea Oligarchy, The Onsam Kingdom, The Empire of Craydonia, and the Belz Republic
have begun trading in full, in the Northern Sea. While the benefits are coming slowly, as many nations are pre-occupied with other events, it will surely become important in coming years.

The Northern Sea Oligarchy have begun exploring the mysterious West, or so people have been heard. Most rumors come from Merchantmen, and the like, but many were swiftly silenced by the government.

The Yaseum Federation has gotten a NAP with the Anris-Ketmir-Banfray bloc, and the Abdolian states, ensuring its safety, and allowing it to continue its economic growth. Along with that, came open borders with Belz Republic, Yulida, The Irryn Republic, Anris, Banfray and Ketmir, and as many of the Yaseum Federation had hoped, trade.

Randpol, and the Yaseum Confederacy has stepped up patrols of the South Sea against Pirate attacks, and have been incredibly successful in this, as not a single Merchant Marine ship was reported lost, due to piracy.

The Yaseum Federation, and the Abdol states, namely Yulida, have, more or less become allies, greatly aiding each other's interests. Working some politcal magic, the Yulidians brokered a deal with the Federation that may make the difference in 'freedom, or oppression under foreign rule,' as it has been put.
Asham has finally found some time to expand west ward. The area for the most part was already settled by it's people, it just needed to actually claim the land. The new found land has a lucrative fur trade, that Asham is already seeing benefits from. The new territory's borders are supposed to become a bit more solid in the coming years.
(+1 Asham ASP)

Yulida has finally pushed the Abdol states into forming a confederation. While each state will be able to act on its own, a some-what centralized government will make it easier to make sure that all states at in the accordance with each other. As for how this will actually work, Abdolian representatives claim that after the war (see Military Events) a constitution will be made.
(see Military Events)

Domestics

The Northern Sea Oligarchy has begun successfully integrating its new territory, dubbed 'Robot Pirate Island'. The inclusion of the island's Royal Family into the Oligarchy was an unexpected, but certainly helpful, step in this this assimilation. Signs of rebellion have all but disappeared, while the people slowly rebuild their lives under the new government.

Creul, despite its wars, has kept its people happy, throwing celebrations in their honor, and in honor of the king. Despite the loss of Unya, (see Military Events) the people still hold on strong, waiting for victory.

Irryn has over-spent a bit, but its people are fairly okay with that, as long as it goes to it winning the war!

The Invasion of Abdol (Northern Theater)
Spoiler :

At the start of the decade, things were not looking good for the Abdol states. Pereb and Soage were relatively out of the fight, while Yulida, Irryn, Rakil, Elham, and Adsul geared up for war. The war, now in its third year, was getting bloodier as the days go by. The numerical advantage held by Creul, at the start of the conflict was quickly lost when Yulida rallied its neighbors to fight off a foriegn invader. The decade began with new Creulian offenses through Pereb and Soage, into Elham, which Creul wished to take out of the war, before the Abdolian coalition troops could bolster their defenses.

The Creulian army, contained elements of both soldiers from Soage and Pereb. The idea was to pincer Elham, in the North, while the two armies moved towards each other. The Abdolians could not resist the mass of Creulian troops, pouring into their land. The Abdolians attempted to resist the The capital, would have fallen, if the focus of the war hadn't shifted elsewhere. And so, for a awhile it seemed all that the war weary Abdolian and Creulian generals could do is gaze at each other across loosely defined battle lines.

However, Irryn's relatively unexpected, yet much needed entrance into the war certainly helped to not only rally the coalition, but dishearten the enemy. Led by the 3rd Cavalry, an elite unit by anyone standards, Irrynic troops rushed into the fray, followed in suit by the beleaguered Abdolian forces. The intention was to retake Pereb, and as many had hoped, after breaking the initial Creulian lines, it would be as simple as walking towards the capital. Not so. Since Creul, expecting Coalition reinforcements to arrive anyday, not only had dug in, in several key positions throughout the occupied land, but had completely destroyed the roads, making any advance, for either side, only work at a snails pace. And so with the Irryn-Elham offensive going as far as it could, or so it seemed, the focus once again shifted.
To the south, Soage awaited it's liberation. With Creul's main priority to hold onto Pereb (so they could at least have one bargaining chip if need be!) many divisions originally defending the territory were moved north. Using their mass numbers against the weakened defenses, the Abdolians pushed north, into the country. The Creul divisions, left to defend, outnumbered, moved north to rejoin forces, in the hope that they will live to fight another day.

The Invasion of Abdol(Southern Theater)
Spoiler :

Meanwhile, as the two giant militaries clashed in the North, the war was a bit more one sided in the South. It seemed, at least for awhile, that Creul would steam roll over each state, one at a time, however, Yulida, sort of putting itself at the head of the various states, not only formed a Confederacy between the nations, but got help from long time neighbor, the Yaseum Federation.

The theater opened up, with Creul, who had a few divisions of troops stationed on the border with Yulida since the war start, launcing an invasion into Yulida. Creuls forces were bolstered, and could of been a match for the Yulidian military, as it was, any day of the week. However, it just so happened that Coalition forces, in the North of the country, had also been building up, and preparing for a strike. The result was, two strong pushes into relatively defenseless areas.

Both sides seeing their blunder spread their troops out, with each side holding a chunk of the others land. Fighting died out for the most part, as the two armies, fearing mass casualties, decided it was better to just dig in.

The major upset of the war, however, came the involvement of the Yaseum Federation. The new power, not only gave a bit of funding to the Abdol states, but also directly involved its military. The Federation gave a sizable force of its navy, accompanied by some marines, and 10 divisions of it's army, to be commanded by Yulida.

The largest sea-borne invasion yet attempted by a nation took place with a joint force of troops under the command of Yulida, and The Yaseum Federation. The only problem that had come up which was Cruelian naval resistance. While it was not much, it was more than was expected. The Creulians, fearing naval attacks, kept the navy vigilant, commandeering merchants, to various effects. The result was the entirety of the Yaseum navy coming into the fight. While the Creulian defense was admirable, and did its damage, the sheer size of the invasion force allowed it to almost brush the Creulian resistance away.

With the committed navy of the Federation, over 15 divisions of infantry, and 3 marine divisions landed on the undefended Creulian shore line. The Creulian military was off, containing other invasions, and thus left the countryside to be defended by militia in mostly unsuccessful attempts to push the invasion back into the sea. Within months, the Coalition army was miles outside of Unya, and within weeks were parading through its streets. Luckily, the Royal Family fled towards the border with Randpol.
Attrition has been felt, on both sides. The Coalition's forces were under strict instruction to loot and destroy everything they could, as revenge for Creul's destructive 'rampage' across Soage. In a reversal, the Creul forces, who were under orders to not loot, and such, seeing the Coalition's destructive agenda, began doing it too.

Currently, in the North and parts of the South, the two great armies are at a stand still. However, the Coalition led forces in central Creul, are relatively unopposed, while the Creul military assess's its situation. Both sides are at a relative loss as to what to do next.

The Esayan War
Spoiler :
At the tail end of the decade, East Esaya invaded its long-time neighbor, and enemy, Esaya, sparking off what is sure to be a war of epic scale. The war itself hasn't gone too far, seeing as the only orders given to the East Esayan commanders was to attack, they've only pushed a small distance into the country. The only thing aiding them is their larger numbers, and a few technological advancements that have come in handy. Despite the fact that hostilities have commenced, the 'real war' is set to begin any time now, as both sides forces gear up to face their hated, old rivals.
(-6 Esaya Divisions, -5 East Esaya Divisions)

The Craydonian Civil War
Spoiler :
For the second time in its history, regions of the great Craydonian empire have broken off, and are attempting to gain freedoms, through various means. The rebellion, dubbed the 'North Sea Rebellion' is of small size, as it is, and has already been cut back greatly by Craydonia's new.. and odd weapons. Without foreign help, it seems by the summer of next year, the rebellion will be no more.
