Lose the BG? I don't think he would. You mean when if the city is founded on the BG? It's not lost, I remember cities on a BG had one extra shields. Perhaps that is only for metros. :hmm:

Here's a tip: You can check if a coast tile is a lake or an ocean. Right click it, and if it shows 1 food it's an ocean, if it shows 2 food it's a lake. :)

Mirc, check the screenie. The tile wasn't visible, so there's no way he could have checked.

If there was more story, Mythmonster would have replied :p

Probably when mythmonster writes one. ;) [/obvious]

Today, right now my brother's hoggin the computer with civ on it but I can play at 5:30 Central U.S time.

Hmm I am subscribing....this appears to be quite intruiguing. I once jumped from Chieftain to Sid also.... I was never annihilated and my opponents were militaristic!
I finally decided I would commit suicide by declaring war manually...and it still took my opponents more than 30 turns to take one of my 3 (yes I was aware that is a miniscule amount of cities) cities!

That only proves that the AI has the intelligence of a piece of wood.

( Hope that isn't copyrighted!:p)
I promised you an update and here it is!
2350: The Hittittes have started the Great Lighthouse!
2310: Disband a scout in Wheatio's to try to hurry production, but it dosn't work. A forest chop occurs in Washington. A spear gets built in Washington and start a settler. Wheatio's goes into disorder. But, on a good note,Bluedot finished it's warrior and started a spear.
2270: Krakatoa blows again. Wheatio's disorder over
2230: WASHINGTON goes into disorder!:dunno:
2190: Settler in Washington done and start wealth. Spear in Wheatio's done start worker. Spear in Mythtopia done and I start a rax
2150: Send settler to green dot
2110: Get wheel from Hittittes for 99 gp. Horses are on my island. Worker in Wheatio's done, start spear
2070: BLUEDOT goes into disorder:sad:
2030: Hittittes build Great Lighthouse
1990: Wheatio's goes into disorder again.:(
The following is a report from an american scout near Bluedot in 1950 B.C.
Uh, why does Mythmonster make us work here? It's not like we're gonna be attacked or any... Hold on! Hittitte ships to the north! There are soldiers on it! Alert the kin...( At this point the scout got killed by an arrow.)
A.K.A 1950:Hittittes land near Bluedot with two 3 man chariots. Change Washington to an archer. Mythtopia too. Tell worker near bluedot to RUN!!! Hook up horses.
I'm not sure which year the following happened:The Hittites declare.( Wasn't THAT a surprise):crazyeye:  They attack Blue with them. Our warrior bravely made one retreat without a scratch, but the second one wins, but only after being cut down to 2 hitpoints. This with a WARRIOR. Against 2 attackers. I have more, but I have to go.
The fatal message

mythmonster, there is a useful utility called CivReplay which helps you with the game. It has actually has several utilties within it, CRpMapStat being the only real useful one. It can tell you when cities are about to riot, among other useful things, and it would probably help you. Here's a Link to CivReplay if you want to download it.

Ouch, better get those spears and archers ready, and recapture Bluedot before they reinforce it. Also get patrolling warriors/other military units around the island, who knows where they might drop next, and with a SETTLER.

That would make it much easier for him, but make him have less fun.

I just posted it in case he's like me and too lazy to do a check every single turn.
