So I'm applying for a working visa for South Korea, so that I can teach English there. As part of the process I have to get a full medical checkup. This is to check for HIV, any diseases and illegal drug use.
I smoked the marijuana about 12 days ago. I don't use any other illegal drug. I will be obliged to go to a hospital and get the checkup done upon within 90 days of arrival in South Korea, but in all likelihood the school that employs me will want me to do it as soon as possible upon arrival. I don't intend to actually arrive in South Korea until 1 May at the earliest.
Obviously a job opportunity is more important to me than any recreational drug use, so I've stopped smoking and have absolutely no intention of partaking while in South Korea. Although I don't agree with their zero tolerance apporach to soft drugs, I respect it, I would be their guest.
My question is will it be out of my system by then? I have read up on it and 90 days seems to be the longest it stays in the system, and longer in the hair. It will either be a blood or urine test so the hair thing is ok.
