The Mod of Modness

Hmmm... Not sure how they got corrupted considering my game works fine. Must be the RARing or something like that. Okay, I'll upload those files for you. And thanks for finding that PRTO issue, I'll sort that out too. Soz about all this, I'm going to upload to somewhere else, but it'll take a while to upload. Thanks for downloading so far and I'll keep you posted. =D

Can you just make a mirror link? That's impossible to download it from that link, the speed was 32Kb/s and now it's down to 1.17Kb/s.

As I said, it's slow because it's a home server, so I'm currently uploading to filedropper.com. But it'll be a while.

Art.rar worked fine, :crazyeye:break the rest of it into parts and have them added to mediafire.com.:goodjob: Then people can try your masterpiece.:)

Mediafire has an unfortunately small upload limit, so I'd have to break it into a fair few parts, which'd be awkward to download. I've tryed uploading the whole file to other sites, but the upload has always taken to long and subsequently failed because my internet will have cut out at some point. So, I'm going with the torrenting idea, which I intend to sort out on Saturday, when I go to my dad's house.

And smirnoff, if you have downloaded it succesfully, thank-you for sticking by this whole thing and can you please tell me what you think, where I need to patch and improve, etc?

sure give me some time please i also play other games not only civ3 (but i rather play a lot :) )

Fairsnuff. Thanks. =D

That is pretty good. I like it actually. No bugs whatsoever, at least during the ancient era and the middle ages. But still there are some things. For example there are some missing civilopedia entries, so i it's impossible to find out the effects of several wonders and buildings. Such as laboratory. The technology tree is a little messy, without arrows i mean. And also i have some concerns about units. First, why cossacks have such a little attack? And all the ships have little attack too. Especially range attack.

Thanks! =D
Okay, as I'm sure I said, the civilopedia isn't finished. I still play with the biq file open in Steph's Expanded Editor to use as a reference where I haven't finished the civilopedia yet. And I just haven't done the arrows yet, that's all there is too it. Okay, if you think the ships' attacks are too low I may change that in a later patch. Oh whoops, the cossacks simply haven't been properly updated to match the new more powerful unit stats.

but for cossacks even when you play Vanilla cossacks are weak compare to sipahis

is there a reason to that ?

Also it may be just me, but i think the difference between the transport and the epic carrier shouldn't be just in defense and speed. The word "epic" suggests something that can carry huge numbers of units. Or is it not?

Fair point. These are the sort of things I want to know to change, so thanks for the input! Really. =D
Also, since you've been playing on it, if you want to, I'd love to get some more screenies for the thread. If you can't be bothered, that's not a problem either.

Sure, What exactly should be on screens? I'll do some in the morning. It's 1 a.m. right here)

Anything you want. Anything you think is good about the mod or looks cool or something like that. Just showcasing it basically. Thanks. =D

I've got a little problem. The terrain graphics in my game is a little different from your screens. If it still OK i'll do some screens.

Yeah, it's fine. =D

well started to playing it i picked persia how come there are two types of spearman there ? is there any civ that could have that just curious because after through eras it stops upgrading ...if you know what i mean
