The NES Wiki - Get Wiki With It

Over half way through. Jal, if when you send your bot through, you could compare titles to what they are in the list, it would be appreciated--I went through and manually edited in all the correct ones for the first 225 entries on the list. Also, 0164 got skipped for some reason.

On another note, not that anyone will, but somebody should go back through and check start and (more specifically) end dates. Basically, a NES is considered to start when a thread goes up. It's D.O.A. if it ends without an update. It ends in one of two instances: 1) if the Moderator makes no final post stating its fate (or says it will be back but it never is) it ends at the last update, 2) if the Moderator says its over (either with a final update or not). Having correct dates before cutting NESes out for player pages would be useful.
164 got skipped for a specific reason--it's the restart of RTOR2, which didn't actually have a new thread. As such, I wasn't sure how to handle it. Any suggestions?

So you want me to go with the titles in the table, rather than the actual titles? Oh, you mean the other way around. That makes sense.

BTW, I've noticed that the order of NESes is not entirely accurate, since it was done before you could sort by Thread Start Date . But it doesn't really matter...

No; replace the table titles with the actual ones as you go, if you would please. As you've probably noticed (and have done already), I consider everything in the thread title to be the NES title.
Damn, ninja edit didn't work. :p

Nice work on List of NESes while I was gone. How bout this, I'll work on adding raw info on each NES, while the rest of you edit it to a better article. :p

I frankly have enough time, but I'm not that good at editing, and I easily get distracted with this forum already. :p

I haven't touched them other than to fix a link here and there. Blame Jal. :p

And no, or if they do, they don't want to work on this. You're not going to convince them to be unlazy, so don't bother trying.
What did I do this time?

Anyway, I'll try to get to filling in the rest of the entries tonight.

Note to Symphony: former NES-CFC0273 (New Omnipotent Dominion) is in actuality an alliance thread, not a NES. I will remove it and reduce the number of every subsequent NES by 1. Keep this in mind when adding new NESes.

EDIT: Also realized that #624 was skipped. Will take this into account as well.

Well, I changed the numbering, but nothing else.

Now, I'm going to point out the first mods of NESes. Then maybe I'll look into those spiffy boxes like this to list all of the NESes modded by a certain user.

Procedural question: since the list of NESes has now been split, should the first occurance of a name on each page be linked? Or only the first occurance of a name in the entire list?

Okay.

Oh and Symphony... the {{redirect|bla}} tag produces the message that ""bla" redirects here" on a given page, but the redirect doesn't actually work. What am I doing wrong?

Well, I was going to link first NESes on NESer pages directly to the NES article rather than to CFC...but that seems unfeasible now.

Can someone add redirect pages (Carmen, etc.)? The code is #REDIRECT[[Article Name]], which should be the entire content of the new page.

No, you just do [[<NES-SX>|<Name You Want>]] to rename the Wikilink into whatever you want--like the title of the NES. It could be the other way around, my memory is a bit hazy.
Yeah, I know, but it adds an extra step. :p
