the dutch squad seems to have motivation problems. in the match about third place in wc -98 didn´t they even care about the bronze while the croatians were fighting hard.

I was on holiday then and had a real hard time finding a television to watch the match. When I finally found a television where the match was on I had to go through 90 minutes of uninspired crap. Motivation problems seems quite a mild expression to describe the show they put up there....

Well, I did. What a massacre! The players simply forgot that in football you must run. They did nothing in the entire match. I hope this was the last time I ever see this kind of behaviour in the national team.
Fortunately there was a game against Brazil to put things in the right place. It finished 1-1, and no one remembers that sad match against Finland anymore. But I don't believe we will win the WC. I'm expecting a quarter final exit, but who knows. BTW, I was in the stadium in the game against Brazil and it was simply marvelous.
In the WC don't forget to watch a brazilian guy called Ronaldinho Gaúcho. It was by far the best individual performance I ever saw in loco.As for the Netherlands, I'm really sad that they are not in the WC. I was hoping both teams, Portugal and Holland, to qualify in that group. When I heard that they had lost in Ireland, I was speachless. Well, but after all, it was our fault: we should had been less severe with them in the qualifying.
