Probably won't be able to make the Friday mission since I usually play DnD at that time. Anything I can do to stop from falling too far behind on levels?

Bio:
Spoiler :
Everyone knows the name of the Snow Queen in Russia. The hero of the War. The Mother of Russia. The Mistress of the Ice. Katarina Alayunov.

But no one recognized the name of Dmitri.

Born in the year before the United States's economy was hit by a recession, and set the stage for the 21st century, Dmitri was always overshadowed by his older sister, Katarina. They were part of an experiment by the Russian government to create super soldiers, and lived with their parents during their childhood. She was always better than him in everything, from sports to school, and even discovered her powers a year younger than Dmitri did (Dmitri was 18, she was 17, right at the start of the discovery of Siberium).

When she discovered her powers, she was immediately taken by the Russian military to a secret facility in Siberia, and so was Dmitri when he discovered his own powers. Katarina once again proved to be superior, her powers becoming stronger and more diverse than Dmitri's. When the time came, Katarina was sent to the front lines, with Dmitri left behind to become stronger. She was hailed as the new savior of Russia, while he was forgotten about by even his own family, stuck in the test facility in Siberia.

Dmitri continued to live in the Siberian facility, forced to develop his powers and cold resistance by Major Kasarova, the overseer of the facility and a Spetsnaz operative. He frequently forced Dmitri to suffer, sometimes inventing creative punishments while other times simply using a whip to get his point across to Dmitri that he was a nothing, a test subject for Russia who couldn't make the cut. In 2031, Dmitri decided he had had enough. One day while walking out in the snow, he focused all of his powers and created a blizzard, using that as cover to escape. He disguised himself as a simple farmer and left Russia, never to be seen in the nation again.

Major Kasarova was tasked with hunting him down. Dmitri and Kasarova faced off multiple times over the following year, with Dmitri trying to keep Kasarova off of his trail, and Kasarova always managing to find him. Dmitri eventually reached Switzerland, where he decided that the only way that things would end is by becoming a hero. Determined to finally become something, Dmitri tried to make a name for himself by stopping criminals throughout Europe, although many times he was mistaken as a criminal himself. He never stopped, though, and continued to fight on for the hope of becoming more than the Snow Queen.

So, continuation of this mission can resume on Friday. Since I don't have school that day, I theoretically can start this mission earlier if its easier for people, like 2 or 3 or 4. Or I can do 5. Just tell me if doing this earlier would be easier or harder for you guys.

*All times in EST

Well this week is Thanksgiving break for me so I should be free for pretty much any time.

I've got work at 6, so the earlier, the better. If we could somehow start at 1, that would certainly give us enough time.

I /could/ do one, but honestly I don't want to start earlier than two. Even megs needs his sleep. However, I'm more than happy starting at 2 if everyone else is okay with it

Mission 2 complete, 1200 XP for everyone who showed up either the first or second half of this mission (Which is everyone who hasn't quit on me but kinich IIRC). Also no you do not get 2400 for showing up on both.

Write up later if ever.

When is the next mission?

I came in late, but I can tell you that we have a hideout now. It's the skinhead's ex-base in the movie theater. :D

Over the course of the last mission we descended upon the movie theater by various means. Some of us threatened/fought/knocked out a single thug in the middle of the cinema at various points throughout the mission, resulting in an ambulance being called. Requiem located and infiltraited the hideout alone, by herself, without any help, and Nightmare followed her in, all his figurative guns a-blazing, before fleeing in abject terror. Whilst Requiem was inside the hideout, the thugs employer, disappointed with their long string of failures, decided to murder them all with no apparent difficulty. Deciding that Nightmare might have the right idea after all, Requiem escaped before the villain could finish his massacre, indirectly saving the lives of the six thugs she intimidated into fleeing on her way out.

As Requiem was finishing her own flight, Byzantium spotted and gave chase to her in hopes that she knew something about what was going on, with the White Russian following him. A terrified Requiem pointed them back to the hideout, and the two of them investigated to find the place deserted. Staring at the bloody aftermath of the slaughter, the two of the struck up a conversation with a friendly police officer, who noted that the hidden base might make a good superhero hideout wink-wink-nudge-nudge-cough-cough. Upon finding records indicating the thugs former employer was Cybernetic, Byzantium began throwing pictures of Polyphemus at everyone he could find, explaining to anyone who would listen how he was also an evil cybernetic and so might possibly be related to the situation.

And that is the story of how we all fled in terror whilst only I accomplished anything of even the faintest note. Please keep your adulation at a reasonable level. :smug:
