Well I've restarted the server just to be sure.

By the way everyone, please exit to menu first before you quit the game, especially if you're using windowed mode. I'm pretty sure just quitting causes a minor problem on my end.

I had difficulty getting into the game today and (from CivStats) it looks like others did too. It takes a very long time to transfer the files and then gets stuck on finishing, somewhat similar to the problems we had during the accelerated start.

It takes 10 min to connect to the game and then another 10 min to DL the info...

I also had troubles with connecting and downloading files, but I have successfully finished my turn...

Yeah I had some problems as well, I've restarted pitboss and that seems to have solved it.

Yep, just send me an email or post in this thread when the server's being crappy. Bear in mind I do have pitboss capped at a maximum upload rate of 10KB/sec (that's bytes, not bits), but I've been running my previous games like that as well so it's no problem.

Thankfully I was able to get my tun done. I would have done it earlier, but at least it is still done and I did not miss a turn.

I am getting that problem again.

But on my second try I got in, after having to log off my settings and getting back in.

I'm prretty sure it's your own responsibility to get a sub for that short a time... Otherwise, just queue up three or four turns worth of moves before you go...

Yep, when everyone's back I will make an addendum to the rules to cover vacations.
