might as well join up.
anyone have a problem with (f)animutation?

Welocme Stuck.

Any and all recommendations are welcome.

@All: Here's what I am thinking for code proposals.

Term X- Suggested Code Y

<stated>

High Priests, please vote Yes or No within Z hours.

If passed it becomes Code X-Y? I need to work on it, but I'm sure someone here would be better at it (not hiniting or anything :mischief: ).

I'll join. I don't know much about FFX series, but I do know what you mean by Aeons, since I have played past FF games, including FFVII.

I can tell by the avatar and a past converstion with you a while back. ;)

Welcome to the Order of Yevon.

CivGeneral has been promoted to High Priest.

Anarchy has been promoted to Priest.

I've decided to change around election. Everyone can vote, but your say still depends on status.

Praetor/ High Priest Vote: 4 points (2 people currently)
Priest Vote: 2 points (2 people currently)
Follower Vote: 1 point (5 people currently)

That's 17 points to be divided, if an election were to happen now. This way people could feel more involved.

Of course, this will only pass if High Priest CivGeneral approves of it.

What are we actually gonna do? And what elections are you talking about?

1. We are a religion. We worship according to tech (see first post). This is an rpg thread. We spread the word of our religion, and make everyone else swallow it hole in efforts to make it the main religion of our nation. ;) We will probably have a heavy influence in the rpg (even though we don't have a seperate forum). The way the Order acts is dependent on what the believers want it to do. The Order can call for a parade (and other events), advise samurai, and to get in touch with our culture.

2.
Code:
Every month a praetor is elected to office via a vote from the high
priests. Only a high priest may be elected to this office, and a praetor who
loses a re-election or chooses not to run for praetor becomes a high priest.
Elections take place once there is a praetor and two high priests. Tied votes
result in the praetor from the last term making the decision.

With the changes, everyone will vote.

I vote yes on this measure :).

Welcome Gulliver!

Congrats to Black Hole for becoming a priest!

The first elections here will be held at the end of this month as it was CivGeneral's decision in chat.

I believe nominations and elections should be held at the same time as the election process of term 2 in the government.

Anyone have an idea on how we could count the votes without filling this thread with votes?

Oh Yeh! Now I can convert people to our religon :D

we can jus open a poll in the polls forum that is public(so only our members can vote)

You could either do what Black Hole suggested, or just have all of the members PM you there votes and tally them up.

If allowed, I would go with blackhole's suggestion.

If it were to be pmed, it should be done by a 3rd party.

I'll be willing to take all of the votes.

I would like to the propose a law to the high priests (all one of them).

I wish to issue the praetor the right to relocate priests and high priests throughout the nation, so Temple locations will always have at least a (high) priest in them.

Further more, I would ask to have a Temple (not a civ Temple but a Yevon specific one) built in the new city, Furuyama.

so am i being MR third party or not?

just you know so i got a heads up or whatever?

Yes, you are doing it. During the election cycle, people will run for praetor, during the elections for the Term 2 gov (It happens at the same time), so you need not do anything untiil wat later this month.
