The industrial lighthouse looks Fine... Big Ben needs to be larger

It is a bit phallus-like, but most lighthouses are i guess. I was thinking of turning it to an observatory at some point, but im not sure if that would be an improvement

The Lighthouse does not need any adjustment, it looks Fine... I was saying Big Ben on post 303 could be larger or to be more specific, Wider. It would also allow more details to show.

My hard-drive got destroyed, thus all the bryce files have been lost. This might mean the end (again) of gfx creation for me.

I will upload the lighouse sometime in September though, since i have posted it somewhere alone.

It just got destroyed today? Hard-drive failures are terrible, I had one happen late last year IIRC, and all 350 GB on it disappeared forever. Sorry to hear that Kyriakos! You have been pumping out incredible graphics (like you always have) but it is great seeing the architecture you are capable of on a regular basis! It is inspiring!

Was it an external? My external died due to not being in an area with enough ventilation; and moving it around all the time probably didn't help either. Hope you will try to get up and running again eventually!

I plan to get a Large Solid State Hard Drive and I always make Backup Files for anything important.

Is there any chance of retrieving any of the data from it, or did it get totally wiped in the process? I suspect that most of your posted graphics can be recovered from those of us that have downloaded them.

The Bryce models, and more importantly the Bryce setup i was using (lighting mostly matters here) is lost. So even if i get back to bryce it is unlikely that the models will have exactly the same lighting. Although i guess most people wouldnt be able to tell the difference

Yes, it is a loss. 1000 pages are easily 1/6 of my entire diary, and were the notes of the entire last year and a few months. Now lost forever, so i guess people won't be writing their thesis on them in the future

But obviously they are still inside of me, and well i can always produce more. At least i didnt lose any stories i had, since they were all printed (but now i have to type them back in). Now that would have been a disaster indeed...
