These days (i started it early today and am at page 8) i am writing what surely is my magnum opus up to now. So i am in festive mood

If i finsih it as i want to (it will take at least another day) i will try to make a celebratory graphic which will be, possibly, better looking than my rest.

Hey Kyriakos. Do you not like sprawling cities anymore? I like them; I feel just look better than the single buildings. Don't get me wrong, your (bafflingly named) Fantasy cities are beautiful, but are you going to make more sprawling cities in the future?

I don't think i will ever start yet another series of sets, so it will have to be single-building ones, although i too am of the view that if done right (and i could have done it better) multi-building cities look better.
But they take a lot more time to make, and need different designs for each size too.

Thank you Vuldacon :) I am currently at page 15, and still have 10 to 15 more pages to write. So i guess it will be finished sometime tomorrow.

I am confident that it is at least one of my best 3 stories of all time. :)

May I ask what type of stories do you write, Kyriakos?

The closest thing to them in American literature would be- if i am allowed to say so, and that since other people had made the comparisson :) - Poe's work.
They are "urban fantasy", psychological, with a touch of horror.
I've had my first book out since last December :)

Edit: And now, a few minutes ago, the story was completed. It reached 20 pages. I think that i will include it in a second book, but i have to read it again later to see just what it is worth to me :)

Interesting. Poe is still one of my favorite authors. This summer I purchased an anthology containing all of his stories and poems. The Gold Bug is one of my particular favorites.

This is what i made as a colony:

I guess they should be powerfull barbarians, more like rebels or people participating in a civil war.
In the middle ages, barbarians could be
- Mongol hordes
- Revolting peasants (not revolting like "hey, he put his finger in his nose!")
- Rebelious local lord
- Some kind of mercenaries out of contract.

I think a small castle could fit for the 3rd case.

However, I think it may be better as a fortress.

Could you make a version with a moat for a barricade?
