How about the Great Terror of the French Revolution, other names (for the same event) are: la Terreur, The Reign of Terror,
Or the National Razor, which is more just the killings of the guillotine. But which was also supposed to be seen as an equality in national punishment, and was supposed to be quick and humane.

It's very good. Sort of simplified?
The size 2 looks too elongated to me. More square/round like the others would be better. I also thought this about the size 2 'definitive' sets.
I like it more and more the more I see it.
You could experiment with walls in size 2 and 3 again...
EDIT: I'm going to upgrade my assessment to "I love it!"

Love it. The only thing - about "elongation" noticed by Nick - you added to the size 2 two new elements (comparing to size 1) and this made size 2 image bigger. Probably, one but the best one of these two? And what about irrigation? I hope you noticed a SOE scenario produced by Civinator - his idea of "terrain programming" (visual as well) planted seeds, so overlapping may interfere with the resource-improvement. I do understand your architecture need, but, please, understand our need to use your beautiful sets - some compromise should take place.
