Of course the rest of it could be incorrect but you're taking one obvious example of it being wrong and saying "well this one thing is wrong so screw it, its all wrong".

theres still too much plastic and theres still a poor turtle with a ring around it.

It's a common strategy utilized by Republicans: in an effort to discredit the source, find one tiny insignificant detail that there may be some grey area on, and blow it up to try and make the entire article/paper/publication look like it was written by a fanatical left wing nut with a political axe to grind.
