You'll have to take into account that it can be any one of the three dice which is something else than 20.

So the probability is
1/20*1/20*19/20 + 1/20*19/20+1/20 + 19/20 *1/20*1/20= 3* 1/20*1/20*19/20 =57/8000.

I see. But shouldn't the chance for at least two 20s (i.e. either two or three 20s) be higher than the one for exactly two 20s? I guess I got that one wrong too.

Pay also attention to the words you choose, they can confuse others, and sometimes even yourself. Brighteye above thought you meant "any particular triple" by "any triple". I'm not too good with English, but perhaps "some triple" or simply "triple" would be good words to use.

I'm not a native speaker myself, and don't exactly discuss maths often, so yeah, it's tricky. Sorry for the bad wording. :)

is there a noticeable difference between 1080 i or p and 720p when watching HDTV?

I can't even notice the difference between HDTV and normal TV.:crazyeye:

Wait, so we shouldn't worry about problems that don't affect us? Someone is being affected by the pollution from the transportation of bottled water, you know.

One could care less, unless they do not at all.

How is it any more so than the transportation of item X, Y or even Z?

Because water is a lot heavier than most things that travel by truck. So it's comparatively more polluting.

^^^that's the best argument. There's no point for bottled water, get your own reusable bottle, and a water filter and fill it up.

there's a point in mexico

Being as bottled water is 90% of the time just more filtered municipal water, thus getting the same Mexican water anyway, no, not much more of a point. A little, but not much.

What should I look for in a DVR that is not a TIVO? I don't want to subscribe to a service, I just want to record over the air HD broadcasts and play them on an HDTV.
