A subordinate clause separated by commas is just that, but if you want to link your sentences together with other words then you're no longer simply adding subordinate clauses in with commas but using a different structure.Another question from cappin Dyslexia -
"But" and the placement of commas. A pair of commas denoting a subordiant clause would normally be placed so that the sentence would read if the commaed clause was removed. This doesnt seem to hold with "but".
