What is the word origin of the French besoin and the Italian bisogno?
I found a source saying it came from a Latin word bisonium, but I've never heard that word and it's not in my dictionary. Is it a simply a form from son- prefixed? If so, how did it take on the connotations it has in French and Italian?

If I recall Daniel starts in Hebrew, but rather early in the book it gives a quote and notes that it was spoken in Aramaic. It never gets back to using Hebrew again, but continues on for several more chapters in Aramaic after the quote ends.
I think there are brief Aramaic quotes in several other books, but most of then gt back to their original language afterward.
I've heard there is some doubt over whether Job counts as Hebrew or not. Generally it is believed that it is Hebrew but a different dialect from the rest. Most of the old testament is written in Classical Hebrew, but Job may be pre-classical.

Higher animals are perfectly capable of passing on the plague - see dogs and crows for this. Mosquitoes are an interesting dilemma, as they are different enough that they may not be capable of carrying the plague themselves. A creature must be capable of contracting or at least carrying the zombie plague to spread it.
Are the Grand Theft Auto 3-games independent of each others? Is it possible to play any of them first? (I'm talking about the Windows versions here).
Wikipedia says that GTA4 requires at least Intel Core 2 Duo 1.8 GHz CPU. How does that translate to single core CPUs? Is the difference between dual and single cores qualitative or quantitative? I have 3 gHz Pentium 4, is it sufficient?
EDIT: I know the difference is qualitative, but what I tried to say is: is the requirement on this games part that the CPU must have two cores?

2. No you do not need two cores - in fact GTA 3 can only run on one core at a time (very few games utilize both cores actually). The jist of it is, yes you can run it on your processor, but do not expect to do much else or it will slow your game down. In fact turn of any unneeded programs while you play

I've noticed it plenty of times. On occasions when urine spurts out in seemingly random directions, it's because one of the streams isn't going straight. I have no idea why any of this happens though.
We both have way too much spare time.
