The Right & Obsession with Maniliness?

Republicans just got their big break. They haven't had a full victory like this in over a decade and looking at how thoroughly they're screwing up, I don't suspect it will last very long.

As demonstrated by 2000-2002, they can do so much damage so fast that not long is still too long.

You still don't get it. You have no power. The left abused it and now it's been taken away.

You don't get to debate. Now you get told.

We aren't going to have the current right and left after this decade is over. The entire world is going to change.

We will look back on this time similarly to how we now view the right and left during the French Assembly in the late 1700's. The problem for you is that the right will be the ones creating the new dichotomy.

Trump isn't trotting out anything that hasn't been trotted out before. He's fake revolutionary. He's not special. He's just another charismatic jerk.

Trump is largely irrelevant in the grand scheme of things. Just a clear indicator of where things are headed.

You have no choice.

The left has set events into motion that they no longer have any control over.

Woah, woah, woah there hoss. That's not how democracies work. Sure, one side may gain the lion's share of the power for a while, but that doesn't mean all debate ends and the ruling faction can do as they please. The whole point of democracy is to continue debating and trying to build general consensus. Once you start imposing consensus on the opposition, you cease to be a democratic society, even if you still have elections.

Infracted for trolling.

If you're talking to a fascist clap your hands,

C'mon Commodore, stop raining on dude's goose step parade!

Edited for clarity.

Moderator Action: This post is trolling and, arguably, spam. Calling posters fascists does not add anything to the discussion nor does openly mocking them. One point infraction. - Vincour

And the emperor has no clothes.
An odd choice of words, given your avatar. It's also interesting that your username and avatar don't match. Julius Caesar was Dictator, not a king. He was killed because some Roman senators and aristocrats suspected he had ambitions to become a king, and they found that profoundly unpalatable.

Another fun fact: Julius Caesar was also Rome's equivalent of a leftist.
