The Simpsons Vs Family Guy!

Family Guy is not to my liking. I prefer the Simpsons by far. Better Homer... ehm humor.

Simpsons was a brilliant program back in the day. But now I just want it dead, it jumped the shark long, long, long ago and Family Guy is the rightful replacement for it.

I have been watching the Simpsons for probably 10 years now. Family Guy is a great show, but the Simpsons has to win based on the fact that I have watched it for so long, and seen pretty much every episode at least 2 times by now.

The Family Guy has bigger laughs more consistently to me, but peoples sense of humor varies. It's a lot more "out there" and not for everyone.

Seasons 1-4 of Simpsons are twice as good as Family Guy, but if we're talking currently, myvote goes to Family Guy

Simpsons aren't as funny anymore, but neither is Family Guy. Family Guy had a couple of good episodes (Christmas special), but I would count every episode until 300 as my favorite. Simpsons wins.

Family guy is much funnier than the Simpsons. Who cares about length if one is clearly funnier than the other. My vote might be a bit unfairly biased, though, since my parents wouldn't let me watch the Simpsons when I was little (because it was "trashy").

Overall as a series I'd say Simpsons are better, but right now the new Family Guys are way funnier than the latests Simpsons episodes. I voted for Family Guy.

Consider the entire series' runs, Simpsons wins, hand down. Nothing beats old school Simpsons.

The show, however, has taken a real side downwards in quality. It becomed more sureal, more self-involved, more .... like Family Guy. Family Guy is much better at being Family Guy, however. So if you mean the current season(s), Family Guy would win.

The Simpsons in its prime would take down any show, now that the writers are rapidly losing their touch I feel Family Guy will if it hasn't already taken over.

It is a no brainer. The Simpsons has a closer connection with reality which makes it funnier. However, I think it's trade description because that family is not dysfunctional by regular standards.

I never watch simpsons anymore, its really about time for the Simpsons to bow out.
