This is really not a smilie request but a change of code request for the :p smilie so it becomes :P thus making [party] and [pimp] eaiser and without the [] and having the normal :: smilie code. :please: Why does that one work but the others don't?

Has to do with the way vB parses the code. Way back in the day we had a smilie that was changed, and it went from brackets to colons. The old code was in brackets because vB wasn't parsing out the :-whatever. So TF made a change in the smilie part of the admin section and it worked differently. That's my understanding of it, anyways, and what he did may have been vastly different.

I'd PM the admins and ask...

I see a great deal of use coming from this one, if it were added to our arsenal:

Call it ":bahaha:"
TrekBBS forum has that one, and they call it :guffaw:  It gets a lot of use there, and on the cat forum I belong to.

Seems the popcorn smiley is still popular. :)

We need a tinfoil hat wearin smilie.

I think it's freakin' out better than  does.

Yeah, I still want popcorn. I use it already anyway, it would be nice to be able to [popcorn] or better yet  rather than [img]http://whereeveri'mkeepingitiforget[/img].

I think the popcorn one is useful enough to warrant inclusion; frequently when a spirited debate rages and you wish to participate without necessarily drawing fire yourself (because you're don't really care strongly one way or the other) - the popcorn eating observer reminds everyone that their debate is somebody else's entertainment. So cool it, brothers.

Also, [popcorn] is only nine characters, so it can't stand on its own as a post. It's got to be accompanied by a meaningful comment that adds to the discussion. Or at least chairs. ;)

And I like :whew: too. Don't care for :woot: one way or another.
