The UI in general

Is it just me or does the UI in general feel like it was developed for a console game?

I really hate opening up the diplomacy option and having to scroll through CS and other leaders. They should all be present in one chart. This is a PC game, give me all the data without having to scroll through it.

They need a better Diplomacy screen. One that tells me what resources other civilizations could use. Having to click through every single leader to find out if they need fur is tedious. Show me already..

Is there any kind of mod that fixes this type of stuff? Since trade agreements only last 30 turns this type of thing becomes a big micro management numb fest.
 
The only thing I know of is Info Addict. That's saved my skin a few times.
 
I design UIs for a living. And while I disagree that the UI is console-centric (things like scrolling are more keyboard and mouse-type paradigms) I do agree there needs to be an at a glance view of who needs/has what resources. It is the most tedious thing about the game, going through each AI and seeing if they need Gems or Furs or whatever.

If you click/hover on a resource, it would be nice if they showed you the leaders that did not have the resource.

Also, the way the UI scales to handle mass notifications is pretty awful. If you have a lot of CS allies and declare on someone else who also does, the number of ___ declared war on ____ notifications is simply enormous.
