The Ultimate Evil Cooked Maps: Prepare to DIE!

Persia did not have Biology, but despite checking every turn he was always very poor. Eventually I had to just trade Persia Biology for Aesthetics and pocket change, which at least secured the +4 trade relations with him.

Gandhi was a goldmine though and I was very excited that he didn't have medicine yet. I'm now at the end of my tech tree so gold is all that matters, and getting a big lump sum of gold here changes how I can play.

I won the sushi race and redid my trade deals to max sushi resources (and no longer give Freddy any resources). Look at this bonus  Built in Tenochtitlan, as it had high food tiles lost to culture, was going in and out of revolt, and already had a market and grocer. It was also 1 turn from Texcoco and Prague which would further accelerate sushi spread. But yeah the irony of founding sushi on my only non-coastal city is not lost on me.

I whipped a few theaters in low :hammers: cities and then revolted into US and Emancipation. Slavery's served me well but the new name of the game is rapid growth. I'm rich enough to buy a couple specialists on turn one, and then the rest on turn two. Unfortunately this means it's time to retire my happy police, and I sent ~50 warriors to their death this turn. Emancipation, buying resources from Gandhi and slider was how I was going to moderate happiness from here on out. I don't necessarily need every city to be happy, but I want every city to be able to work every tile with ANY food on it.

We need to surpass Frederick's votes to be eligible for the election by the time of the next election. We have a long ways to go and not a lot of time to get there.......:scared:

Gandhi was right behind with an impressive CV time for an AI. :wavey:

I actually wonder if there is a way to play w/o those first impressions by not giving up the Bat or Bug/bull mod. Most of the improvements in those mods are great, but the relations modifier make the game way too predictable. I remember playing a completely unmodded BtS steam version for 2 years, and on those maps, Shaka would also declare on Ghengis, or Boudica on Alex. When I started watching the first videos from Absolute Zero, I was always wondering why Gandhi or Elizabeth are universally hated and why the warmongers always declare on the "wrong" person.
BAT and BUG/BULL don't change these "first impressions" (difference in peaceweights), this would go against their mission. They're exactly the same in unmodded BTS, the unmodded version just doesn't have them demonstrated.
