The year was 2006. September 2006, to be precise. I had sneaked around in the forums for quite a long time, and finally joined. Now, that was the very first time I joined a forum. Therefore my very first posts were quite... stupid. Even more stupid than the posts I post now. That very first time was a golden moment. I had just started in a new school, meeting new people.

This was my first thread ever. Read and cry.

How about YOU? How was your very first golden moments on this site?

This was your first thread maybe, but not your first post. Here's your first post: http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?p=4576251#post4576251

And as for me, the first post and the first thread are the same thing! I'm one of the few people who made a thread as their first post! Look here: http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=123193

LOL I was such a noob at Civ3!

First time here was shortly after I had bought civ3 and had a question about something, that was at the end of 2003.

Then a few months later, in early 2004 I had a pretty important question (which patch to use with the scandinavian version of civ 3), and signed up and started a thread about it. Padma tried to help, but no one knew and that made me all hot and bothered. Padma is such a great mod.

My first thread in OT was about "which celebrities should be killed", I think.

Wait a minute, there's a Scandinavian version of CivIII? Wha...?

My first post on CFC was about posting my own Civ3 world map. The november 20th, 2001 :

Final Earth map

Last time someone posted in this thread was in February 2007. :smug:

Well I dunno if the game itself is any different from say the english version, the game itself is in english but the big thick manual which came in the box was in swedish and I think also norwegian and danish. I say I think cause I lost it long time ago.

i remember playing "Marla singer's world map" on civ 3, (even civ2?) and then the first few times i came to OT and saw you posting I was like OMG I can't believe I just talked to THE Marla singer :run:
For me at that time it sounded as big as Bill Gates or Sid Meyer :)
