The Walls of Cusco

I haven't recieved many orders. In light of that, I'll put out an RP-based microupdate, upon the basis of what was submitted and doesn't require in-game actions:

Autonomous Communities
Beyond the outskirts of Cusco, several small communities have formed in the less barren portions of the countryside.
To the south, large populations have moved to the floodplains and hills beneath the cities. While these have been relatively disjointed farming communities, a small band has organized itself under Schnozz Goldberg, and has been terrorizing and assaulting the (obviously large, in a nation of 1000) working class of the region. While such a small group obviously has had little success, the threat the upper class(es?) has/have become has led to resentment, both in the region and in bordering ones.
To the northwest of Cusco, a more peaceful and organized society has formed. Underneath a semi-democratic system, the fishing village has sent Alexander Caesar to petition Despot Flagg for local autonomy, while remaining firmly under his rule.

You seem to have taken "abuse" as "kill." I meant it to be the normal, I'm-important-so-gimme-your-taxes... thing.

That is not what I meant by my post in the slightest.

I never said kill. Beating them up was the thought.
And if you meant your orders, I am not a mind reader. You posted two vague and casual sentences, quoted from a chat.

EDIT:
Correction. One sentence.

For an upper class person, abuse doesn't mean beat up for money, it means lord over.

And it was just a joke. Jeez. Why you be gettin all up ons, dawg?

I'll strike a deal. In exchange for you guys still paying your taxes, sending troops when requested, and of course obeying decrees (which I promise won't be overstretching), I'll allow the fishing village autonomy.

Edit: And promise not to be prissy if I send Cuzco Adjutants around just to make sure everything remains on the up and up.

Geez! I just changed to Javert, and now I have to change to a Time Lord. Not the Doctor, the President would do better, don't you think?

We accept your terms

Yes, but the point was that only around 1/2 of the players DID submit orders, on the first round. That doesn't seem to indicate much interest, to me.

It seems to me that 5 people are interested and that more will probably become interested when we don't have a grand total of 7 tiles to work with.

Also I add that the protocols for this game on the front page are rather vauge and amorphous.... People tend to like order, and certainty as to what is possible within a game.

Yep, I still have no idea of what a template or whatever is supposed to look like.
